Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2010

Updated on June 20, 2011

The most expected event of the year.

Although I believe this year, the clothes are far more better than the ones last year, i still miss that particular glamour from previous events. This time we don't have Gisele Bündchen, Miranda Kerr, Marisa Miller, Heidi Klum, or Caroline Trentini but in exchange other tops showed up. My favorite model this year is Candice Swanepoel, who stamped the event promotional poster. A great bet, since the best body, the best hair and the flawless face belong to her.

The musical guests this year were Katy Perry and Akon. Katy Perry looked and sounded gorgeous! When she performed during the Pink collection presentation, she looks stunning in a yellow dress and black boots. I loved that she did a medley of "Teenage Dream/ Hot N Cold/ California Girls." Her music is very appropriate for the youthful, colorful Pink collection!

Akon performed his single "Angel" and it couldn't be more appropriated. It was a beautiful segment of the show and it added a classy touch!

The event was divided in stages as usual and this time the inspirations were: sports, jungles - with animal prints and peacock plumes - childhood and angels. The wings were created by the designer Juliette Meurisse.

Check all the looks on the runway now.

Pugilism, lacrosse, soccer, gymnastics, swimming, running, and Kart.

Teenage dream

While Listening to California Girls by Katy Perry the girls walked the runway wearing all those lovely things we like the most: hearts, stars, rainbows, butterflies, kisses… It's by far the cutest part of the show.

Old West Rag Doll

Many pieces with a western look, mixing different textures and prints with jeans and feathers. The highlight of this part is the lace-up boots.

Good Girls...

Angels, boudoir, diamonds, lots of white and softness. On this particular part the so called Bombshell Fantasy Bra which costs 2$million dollars, appears, properly wore by the Brazilian Adriana Lima.

…And After That, They Go Wild!

Fluttery materials, animal printing and peacock wings. To end it, much more glamour and glitter!
