Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E Oil

Updated on June 28, 2014

In my own opinion...

After reading several reviews I found that many people were satisfied with this product and decided to try it out myself. It comes in a very small square 1/2 oz. bottle for about $6.00, depending on where you live and where you buy it. The label claims to heal scars, burns, and wrinkles and is purely Vitamin E. I have cystic acne that leaves deep scars and discoloration in my skin. After I tried using Vitamin E Oil, my scars have not completely faded away, but they have significantly reduced in size. Some of them have become almost unnoticeable.

Small square bottle.

What I like about this product...

One of the main reasons I like Vitamin E Oil is that it is so fast acting. I put a little bit on each of my scars at night after cleansing with my usual wash. When I wake up in the morning, the scars have reduced in size and the color has already faded away a little bit. I find that most products I use usually take days and sometimes weeks to see the effects. With the oil I was able to see a small change in 12 hours, which is pretty impressive. After a month my scars were nearly gone.

The especially nice thing about this product is the tiny amount that is needed. The oil has such a thick, honey-like consistency that you can use a drop on your fingertip and treat each scar you have with just that single drop. I've been using it every night for about 4 months and I'm not even halfway finished with the bottle. It's effective and you get your money's worth. The bottle may look small but for the amount that you end up using, its inexpensive.

dirt and hair gets stuck on the mouth because the oil so sticky.

As wonderful as it is, Vitamin E Oil does have a downside to it. First off, the bottle has a screw-off cap with an open mouth. This product is sticky, folks. I'm not kidding you when I say that it is JUST like honey. The problem with this is bacteria and dirt can easily collect around the opening which could create an adverse effect on your skin. I recommend using a cotton ball or a Q-tip  when you pour it, don't put your fingers directly on the bottle unless you want more than one kind of oil on your face. The good news is those are the only issues I have with Vitamin E Oil, it just needs a different kind of packaging.

Overall I give Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E Oil 5 out of 5 stars. Although open mouth container is a bit of a problem, the contents is still effective. My skin has had a vast improvement in just weeks of use. It's worth the money as I've still got quite a bit left over and I've had it for about 4 months.

Some tips for usage:

  • Use the oil at night after you do your daily skin regimen. It's extremely thick and noticeable so you can't really walk around with it on or put makeup over it.
  • Use a Q-tip to get it out of the bottle, NOT your hands or fingers.
  • Tie your hair up before bed so you don't wake up with sticky hair in the morning.
I hope you found this review helpful. Although it won't remove your scars permanently Vitamin E oil will reduce the size and discoloration to a point where you're the only person who will notice them. It doesn't cost your whole paycheck, and it works immediately. Try it out and let me know what you think!
