Wedding Gowns & Full Figures: The Best Style for the Big-Busted Bride
The Strapless Wedding Gown and More: Beware!
Today’s popular styles may be very difficult to wear if you’re big busted, especially the most popular style of all: the strapless wedding gown.
The “strapless” wedding gown gives no support for the big-busted bride. The gown will sag as well, under the bust-line. It’s a beautiful style of wedding gown since it accentuates the shoulders and neckline, but not for the big-busted bride.
An “off-the shoulder” wedding gown will not give you the support you need either, since like the strapless gown, it offers no support for a heavy bust.
So what's the best style wedding gown for the big-busted bride?
Straps and More Are the Ticket!
A wedding gown with “straps,” however, will give you the support you need and give you the opportunity to wear a bra (which can be sewn into the dress).
A “halter” gown will also give you the necessary support (see photo following). (A halter bra can also be sewn into the gown.)
A “sweetheart” neckline will even make the bust look smaller.
The Perfect Gowns for the Big-Busted Bride
In summary, gowns with straps, "halter" gowns, and gowns with sweetheart necklines are the most flattering to the big-busted bride. Try them; you'll like them!
