Updated on March 13, 2016

I feel beautiful already, why do I need the right skincare?

Many women do not use skincare products. They love the way they look and they feel beautiful inside and out. But, a lot of women do not feel beautiful in their own skin. No matter what they do, they can never seem to choose the right products to put on their bodies. Believe me, I've been there. But, this article will help you decide on what you want to do to keep yourself looking and feeling beautiful. You definitely do not need to wear ANY PRODUCT at all to feel beautiful. But, for those who don't believe that they are beautiful, I can help you choose what will help keep you feeling good about yourself. Every women is beautiful, so never let yourself feel ugly:).

How do I know how much or what makeup to wear?

I remember a time in my life when I felt ugly. I had never been inside a makeup store, and would look at my mother's mascara and try to figure out where it was supposed to go on my face. But, as I grew older, I was suddenly introduced to makeup. It was like WOW. Someone could change their whole face with a couple swipes of bronzer, blush and some foundation. Now, for me that was life-changing. I suddenly felt beautiful. But, nowadays, I tend to just wear my favorite concealer and some blush. Now, this is definitely not for everybody, so I won't give advice on what makeup to wear, because that is totally up to you. But, I can suggest brands that helped me feel better about my skin and about myself. So, if you feel like you want to re-vamp yourself, read on!:)

What should I think about before choosing what brand to wear?

Ok, so first of all, you should try and purchase items from brands that are environmentally-friendly. Though these brands often are more expensive, trust me, they are worth it. Also, you should keep in mind what type of skin you have: oily, greasy, dry etc. (I'll go over it later on). Lastly, get brands that your hear about or read about. If the brand is famous for GOOD things, chances are most products from that brand will be pretty good. Of course there are exceptions, but usually, if you shop for skincare with these tips in mind, it won't be too hard to find a brand that you will wear and like.

What is my skin type?

I've compiled a list from different sources that will describe different skin types. If you see a skin type that matches the description of your skin well, then that is your skin type. If you see two or more skin types that match how your skin is like then you are probably BOTH of those skin types. I urge you to read through the whole list and THEN decide which skin type matches yours. Enjoy!
