Designer Sunglasses

Updated on July 15, 2014

Designer Sunglasses

Designer sunglasses are truly must have items if you want to be taken seriously by the crowd you move in and the people that you deal with.

There are many high quality and high price brands all vying for the top places in the eye wear sections of big department stores and the choice can be quite literally eye-opening!

Here is a hub page that aims to sort out the wheat from the chaff and try to give as objective and unbiased as possible reports on some of these top brands of designer sunglasses. I won't be going through all the designer brands, as that would mean a hub page the size of a book, but I'll ne taking a few choice designer brands and focusing on them.

Oakley Sunglasses

Currently Oakley sunglasses are occupying a very high place in the league table for designer sunglasses.

They are extremely well made and currently highly fashionable eyewear that are very sought after in the stores and also online. Prices are also quite high, so to own a psir of oakley sunglasses is a glaringly obvious statement that "Hey, I'm doing very well for myself because I can afford to own Oakley sunglasses!"

Well, are they really as good as they are cracked up to be? Lets see.

Chanel Sunglasses

Now, here's a well known name in the fashion and perfume industry that oozes class. A pair of Chanel sunglasses can often be found adorning the faces of the very rich, film stars, fashion models, business people, successful musicians and television personalities.

They can also be found in the high street stores and can be had for a price that will not necessarily break the bank, despite the impression that they would.

Are they well made? You can bet they are!

Are they fashionable? Can a duck swim?

Do you crave to own a pair of Chanel sunglasses? Oh, yeah!

Gucci Sunglasses

Gucci sunglasses have a style and presence all their own. The very name, Gucci stimulates the senses and creates an aura of designer elegance that no one can deny.

So what about Gucci sunglasses?

Well, the range is large and always growing as new models are introduced for each new season. They are extremely well made, high quality sunglasses that will definitely do your image a gfreat deal of good!

A visit to the Gucci website reveals many pages of different sunglasses designs and styles from the quite normal looking ones to the extremely stylish. They have a price tag to match, so unless you have the budget to go with your tastes, the top ones in each range may be out of the reach of you and me (well, me in any case!)

Ray Ban Sunglasses

Ray Bans? Come on, these great sunglasses that have created their own genre in "cool" have been in fashion for ever and by the looks of things are not going to ever NOT be in fashion!

So what is is about Ray Ban sunglasses that endear them to generations of people from all walks of life? Well, probably the most simple explanation is that they are uber cool, they make you feel cool when you wear them simply because you are wearing Ray Bans and they are quality shades built to last as well as to look extremely good on your face!

So does anything more need to be said about these shades?

Nope!

Sunglasses Practical

While there are many designer sunglasses brands to choose from and they in the main are well made and look great, there are times when you only really want a pair of functional sunglasses to keep the sun out of your eyes!

In that case, its best to avoid the designer brand names and opt for some of the cheaper pairs that you can get almost anywhere.

When buying cheap sunglasses, make sure they're not so cheaply made that they'll fall apart as soon as you get them out of the shop! Likewise, don't just buy any old pair as they might look ok on the rack, but as soon as you put them on they make you look like an alien!

Common sense should always prevail when buying practical sunglasses that may or may not be cheap, but functional and rugged enough to stand up to the daily rigours of being worn in the, erm, sun!
