Our hair is our crowning glory. One can become beautiful or unattractive because of the appearance of her hair. Have you tried going out of your house already with your hair tangled and unkempt? People would look at you differently than when your hair is shiny, smooth and well fixed. When you go out of the house or report to your workplace with your hair beautifully fixed, with a little shine and with the right color, they would say you are blooming or even would say you are in love.
One of the main problems of our hair is having dry hair days. Dry hair is dull hair and makes you look older and unattractive. This though can be avoided. One way is to use a shampoo that is mild and gentle to your hair. This will protect your hair from any harmful chemicals that the shampoo may be using. After shampooing, it is always advisable to use a conditioner to give shine to your hair. It is better to use a conditioner than using baby oil or mineral oil for your hair as these two are hair drying.
Dry hair may also come with a dandruff problem. When the hair is dry, the scalp becomes
flaky on some parts because of the dryness of the skin on those parts. A common dandruff
is a layer of the skin shedding from your scalp. Dandruff, together with dry skin can make your
hair look so dull.
You can treat your dry hair with some natural remedies like deep conditioning treatment with the use of mayonaise and eggs. Hair needs additional protein to nourish and to bring back its luster. Egg and mayonaise are rich in protein. Mix one egg with half a cup of mayonaise and then apply the mixture to your hair and then cover it with a shower cap or a hot towel. Leave it on for at least 30 minutes. Rinse well. After, you will feel a smoother and livelier hair.
Some people use also coconut milk and leave it on for 30 minutes to an hour. This will give shine to your hair for a few weeks.
