what percent of people think this is bad vs good
I am doing research for a school paper. and need some statisics.
Many do seem to feel that they're bad
This is something I found which may help: http://www.createdebate.com/debate/show … ood_or_Bad
Also here: "The long-standing and current overwhelming opinion in the psychology community concerning children's beauty pageants is that they are not in the best interests of healthy child development." http://life.familyeducation.com/emotion … 41305.html
I think they're bad. beauty pageants only teach your children that only looks matters. There are many things you can do to help your children gain more confidence rather than putting them into a competition. When they lose, they will think that they're not pretty enough. Such things leads to depression, eating disorders etc.
I'm a makeup lover, but what's so cute about 9 year old with face full of makeup? Just let kids be kids, there's no need to rush them to grow up.
