Are Ray Ban glasses made in China of the same quality as the ones made in Italy?

    Are Ray Ban glasses made in China of the same quality as the ones made in Italy?

    I'm ready for a new pair of eyeglasses, and I love the Ray Ban brand. I found a pair of great-looking glasses, was about to order when I saw a review that said they are made in China. Turns out, many Ray Bans are made in China now, the company has factories in both Italy and China. So they are authentic. But some people are saying that China-made are definitely inferior, and they would never purchase Chinese Ray Bans. I'm sentimentally attached to my Italy-made Ray Bans, too.

    Am I just being a snob or is there a noticeable difference between 'Chinese' and 'Italian' Ray Bans?
