   Nope. Didn't care about fashion when I was a young man, and I'm too old to care now.
   Besides...jeans and t-shirts never go out of style.

      Maybe that's why every awards show begins with a "red carpet stroll". Definitely it's not (men) waiting with baited breath to watch and comment.

   No. Fashion is nothing more than a marketing tool designed to separate you from your money from one season to another season.
   Style on the other hand is determined by the individual.
   The average man spends a whole lot less time and money on fashion and accessories. Maybe that's why you need a GPS to find the "men's department" in most department stores!

   No, I don't. Because I don't buy into the patriarchal view that a woman is only worth her appearance/attractiveness. I don't feel the need to wear the latest fashions, which coincidentally enough, are mostly from major fashion lines owned by MEN or designed by them AND are designed to appeal to the male gaze.
   
   Also, I have my own personal style, I know what looks good on me and represents me as a person, and I won't compromise that for the sake of following some vapid trend.

   Nice to mix a bit of the new with the old.One can mix and match using a latest scarf and bag, with a classical skirt and blouse.

   Yes, If you belong to fashion industry then it's really very important to keep yourself up to date with the latest fashion. Fashion varies time to time and fashion designers & other fashion professionals update themselves accordingly.

   I think you should know what they are at least.  Then you can decide if it will look good on you or not.  For investing in your wardrobe, it is better they say to buy classic styles that never go out of fashion.  That way, you get the most for your money.

   Fashion is a way of expressing yourself. It's good for your mental health. Keeping up with the latest styles puts you in a positive frame of mind. It's fun to be on the cutting edge.
