      Saphire is one of my favs but not with yellow gold, only white gold, platnium and sterling silver. I have half the diamonds in my wedding band as saphires. Blue is my favourite colour. I also have many other saphire rings and necklaces.

      I prefer sapphires over diamonds! I'm not big into jewelry, but my engagement ring, and 10th anniversary ring are sapphires. Who wants diamonds? Everyone has one of those...lol.

   I could not give a damn about any jewellery. It is expensive rubbish that adds nothing to my life experience.

      No, i think jewelry is favorite accessories in women ever. but it's true that these are expensive accessories. one can say that buying jewelry mean you are investing your money

      Why so rude?  A question was asked, in the proper forum, most likely targeted at people who DO like to own jewelry, and talk about it.
      
      To answer your question, gemsston, I do like sapphires a lot--they are very pretty.  I don't own much jewelry, though--just gifts that my husband or kids have given to me through the years, but that's about it!

         I know women who don't like jewelry.  You can't generalize something like that.  I know men who love and men who hate jewelry.

            I am saying that large number of women will like the jewelry, i am not saying about every women.. can say that 90%  to 95% would love the jewelry.

   Some people announce that they hate jewelry for some reasons. I don't understand. If jewelry does imply or stand for some meanings of a society, or world or life values, it is not its fault. At least, it has aesthetic and artistic value to appreciate, and appears human creation and wisdom. The emerald is my favorite, by the way!
