Playing in the Tub is Something All Kids Love !

Bath time was always fun when I was a child. It was my time to pretend I was a mermaid or a shark or to act out great battles with my boats. I was private time I got to spend with my mother, just she and I. Sometimes we would play bathtub ball or bubble beards. It was a precious time that I will remember all my life.

You can make some wonderful memories with your child as well, all you need is a few inexpensive toys and your time. Believe me, it is worth it and it's something they will never forget. Especially with if you have plenty of bubbles, those were always my favorite! If you don't have any, you can use dish washing soap, but remember to put lotion on your child when they are dry, so their skin does not dry out.

Fun In The Tub Soap For Kids

Children love to feel the shaving cream like consistancy of foamy soap. It even comes in a can similar to shaving cream, little boys may like to pretend to be daddy shaving his beard. Be careful though, this is soap and will sting the eyes.

Little girls may pile it on top of their head and pretend to be a princess with a beautiful tiara. It's fun to use your imagination while having fun in the tub.

There are several companies that make foam soaps for kids.

Fun In The Tub With Bubble Bath For Kids

Mr Bubble is #1

Bubbles were one of my favorites for fun in the tub as a kid. Making hair and beards, creating bubble sculptures, having bubble fights with siblings, those are just a few of the fun things I did with bubbles in the bath. Do you remember taking bubble baths as a child ? Fun, weren't they?

Did you know Mr Bubble is the best selling bubble bath for kids? 2012 is their 50 year anniversary ! Amazing ! You have to have a great product to be around that long.

Fun In The Tub With Bath Fizz

Otherwise Known as Bath Bomb !

The bath fizzer allows your child to use 4 out of their 5 senses. Drop one of these in your bath tub and watch the effervescent release, similar to pouring soda in a cup. Listen to the fizzling sound. These are available in an assortment of different colors and scents. Change your bath water into colors of the rainbow.

The dinosaur lover will be amazed with this dino egg bath fizzer. As the dino fizz egg dissolves, a baby dino "hatches" and floats in the bath. This fizzy contains a small toy and is not recommended for children under 3.

I don't have any kids, but I do remember my own tub-full of toys when I was a kid. I didn't have any of those cool bathtub crayons or the fizz, though ... just your average rubber duckies and other plastic toys. Oh, and Barbies. :) I liked to pretend they were scuba diving.
