Lasergain Review

My Laser Comb Experience

Hey there guys!

I'm a 33 year old Englishman currently living in London who started to look into hair loss products because I had just started to notice some hair loss at the temples. Most of my hair loss was covered by a long fringe however I did want to prevent long term hair loss. So after sometime trying different things like Minoxidil which I'd rub into my scalp day and night I thought I'd give a laser comb a try.

I had done a lot of research into what to buy before coming across one product on eBay which seemed like a good deal for me. So this is my experience so far after using a product named the Lasergain for 6 months.

Firstly I didn’t know what to expect, I read through a lot of the feedback and I couldn’t find anyone saying anything negative about the product and there was a lot of feedback to go through, too much to manually go through.

They wrote on their eBay page it’s ugly but I don’t know why they bothered saying that because it’s actually pretty cool looking, I don’t know how much better they want it to look but I was pleasantly surprised. The device also has real lasers not LED lights like I’ve seen in others and seems well built.

Lasergain Laser Comb

Ease of Use

The Lasergain itself is pretty easy to use because it's actually very light and fits quite snug in your hand and it's not uncomfortable at all.

It's recommended that it's used for 10-15 minutes a day, 3 out of 7 days a week. I don't have any problems using it this way if it means growing more hair.

Price Point

This is what grabbed me. I had a look around for other products that had this many lasers and they were all double the price. If I can save some money I will and paying $199 rather than over $500 was a huge decision in my purchase (along with the warranty read below)

I think the Hairmax is around $500 so I'm pretty happy with the cost of this item.

Warranty

This was a big win for me The Lasergain XL boasts a 4 year warranty. I cannot for the life of me think of any appliance whether that be a phone, television, fridge or any other electronic device that has a warranty longer than 2 years. Considering I plan on using this product indefinitely it definitely has given me some peace of mind that it's a quality product.

Customer Service

I'm one of those people that likes to ask a lot of questions and I have to hand it to Lasergains customer service because all my questions were answered almost immediately. I asked about shampoos, whether you can use it with other treatment and they always gave me and upfront answer so I can't fault them there at all.

Results (hair growth or not?)

I noticed a little bit of hair getting thicker after a moth of use... The results were more dramatic after 4-5 months of use with shedding pretty much coming to a complete halt and noticeable thickening around the temple area. If a hair follicle is dead however it will not grow back so in a way I'm lucky I got in early and started treatment before it was too late to save the hair that was starting to thin around my temples.

So as far as results are concerned, I'd say yes I've seen some great but consider that your hair follicle still has to be somewhat alive for it to re-grow.

Final thoughts and rating 5/5.

I was expecting the results that I have ended up with so I have to say if you're a little skeptical there's no real reason to be. With the warranty it's hard to pass by this item.

The customer service was fantastic and deserves a high rating in itself however I'll rate on my results for hair re-growth and though I couldn't grow all my hair back it definitely stopped my hair recessing any further and did help with some re-growth which is fantastic.

I'm happy with this purchase and I would recommended it to anyone who is thinking of purchasing a laser comb.
