Especially in the winter, I love to soak in the bath with dissolved bath salts or bath oil to soften my skin and relax my mind. Like me, not everyone can drop everything and escape to or pay for a spa vacation when they need to relax. While spa vacations are really relaxing, maybe you can bring some of the spa niceties home by buying yourself luxury bath products or giving spa essentials as gifts.

Bubbles of bliss surround my skin

My body's submerged in warm water

I made preparations before I stepped in

So I'd be more relaxed and not tauter

Three round beads with lavender oils

French soaps of peaches and honey

An hour to soak away everyday toils

Is worth more than a drawer full of money

You step out of the bath to envelop

Your body in the soft plush of terry

Before any chills can develop

E'en in the darkness of February

You cannot see who you are

In the wall mirror fogged with steam

Gilded in gold; You're still the star

Of your luxury spa vacation dream
