  2. Do not leave makeup products on your skin because it contributes to clogging your pores, causing more pimples and blackheads. Do not sleep with make-up on.
  3. Keep your hair away from your face. Hair contains oil that may create breakouts to your skin.
  4. Ensure your sleep area is clean by washing your pillow case and towels. Dirty fabrics absorb acne- contributors that affect your skin.
  5. in order for you to maintain a healthy skin, eating food that is considered anti-oxidants would matter a lot. Food rich in Vitamins A, B, and D as well as those rich in calcium, potassium, phosphorus, chloride, magnesium, zinc, iron and sodium.

When coming up with some recipes it is always good to remember that you should always use safe, mild and generic ingredients as your recipe. Here are some recipes that you can follow and try;

Apple Cider Vinegar / Baking Soda

  • Apple cider vinegar is a famous face wash due to the high anti-bacterial ingredient. Add a tablespoon of apple cider with water and wash your face 2 to 3 times daily.
  • Another great natural product that you can use is plain baking soda. Baking soda is pH neutral and is a great tool effectively cleanse your skin, removing dirty skin cells and tones your skin.

Make Your Own Natural Acne Exfoliate

You can make your own exfoliate to scrub off dead and dirty skin cells that clear the pores, tablespoon prevents bacteria build up. This helps to make your skin smooth and soft.

  • You can also mix 2 tablespoons of turmeric + 1 tablespoon of organic brown rice flour + 2 tablespoons of natural yogurt + half tablespoon of raw honey. Turmeric is a powerful ingredient that is anti-bacterial and nourishes the skin. Turmeric may leave a yellow stain on your skin after wash and if it does then don't worry, just use a make removal toner and clean off.
