Anyone that has been reading my pages will know by now that I am a long time traveler, long and short haul trips, by air, by sea and land. I have said it before and I will say it again, I love my luxuries when on the road and spare no expense. Having learned the ups and downs throughout my many years of traveling I decided around 3 years ago to replace my present luggage with Tumi products!
To date I have around six various Tumi products, from a wallet to a medium trip packing case, and have no intention of stopping until I have fulfilled my desires.
Why am I replacing my present products with some rather expensive items? Well, to start with, some are reaching their life expectancy, others just don't live up to my expectations any more as these days to travel you need more at hand and I have had to adapt/make changes for many reasons when away for various lengths of time.
I am a firm believer in getting away with limited belongings/luggage when hitting the road, especially when flying, of which is my main method of travel.
I constantly look at ways to streamline my requirements and at the same time make sure I have the tools of the trade to help me along, yes there are similar and cheaper products on the market, but, as I constantly advise, it's not always wiser to go cheap, your sure to regret it in the end as I have done so!
My research, purchases and relationship with Tumi products have been nothing but a pleasant experience and I can honestly say that they are head and shoulders above all others...explore a little more and I am sure you will agree with me!

Wondering why I have spotlighted the Alpha Deluxe Carry-On Satchel?
Well, firstly and foremost this is an excellent carry-on bag! These days because of the high costs of checking a bag, more and more personnel are attempting to get away with sneaking two or three bags on board the aircraft, next time you are flying have a look and you will be stunned at some of the antics people get up to.
As long as you are not going on a trip over 3/4 days, this is the guy for you, take it aboard the aircraft, everything you need is at hand, and if it comes down to it, you can stow this under the seat in front of you without any problem.
I don't actually have this bag yet!, there are a few others I want to get before this one, but it's certainly on my bucket list.
Having actually handled the bag many times throughout my travels I am loving it more and more, I constantly look to see where I can stow all the items that accompany me on all my trips, items such as cell phone, passport, air ticket, notebook, camera and so it goes on! Items that you need at hand and others that can wait.
This carry-on goes above and beyond and meets all my expectations, it's made from Tumi's signature ballistic nylon material, the main compartment is nice and roomy for your clothes, you have an iPad pocket, a nice padded area for the laptop, pen loop, key leash, card pockets and many zip pockets, not to mention the shoe storage pocket. Comes with top leather wrapped carry handles as well as an adjustable shoulder strap, also has the add a bag sleeve to slip over handles for ease of transportation.
Certainly a terrific on-board companion or weekend away bag!
