Rewinding in my mind to five years ago... memories of dry, frizzy, abused long hair... highlighted way too many times... it's a very bad memory! I could hold out a six inch strand of my hair and it would stick straight out without bending. U-G-L-Y!! I was nearly to the point of having my hair cut very short and starting over. But I had invested years in growing my hair out long, and I couldn't bear the thought of losing it.

I had seen infomercials about WEN Cleansing Conditioner for months and it always intrigued me. I also watched appearances by WEN's founder, Chaz Dean, on QVC's shopping channel. One day I was watching Chaz do a demonstration on QVC that totally sold me for good. He had freshly done red hair coloring on two models before the show. Then, on air, he washed one model's hair with WEN and the other model's hair with a regular shampoo that promised not to strip color. He toweled the models' hair dry, then showed the towels. The model who used WEN had a totally clean white towel. The other model's towel had red hair coloring all over it! Well, that was that – decision made!

When I received my first bottle of WEN, I practically ran to the shower to try it! I put several pumps in my hair and it felt amazing after I rinsed it out! My hair literally felt like silk, far different from my usual shampooing experience. When I dried my hair, it looked like I had a deep conditioning treatment from heaven! My hair wasn't in perfect condition but it was 200 percent better with just one wash!

I continued using the WEN and discontinued all other shampoos, conditioners, leave-in treatments... everything. My hair's condition continued to improve and now it is in what I would consider excellent condition! My hair has now become a source of pride to me, rather than an embarrassment. I've continued to grow it longer, getting an infrequent trim here and there.

WEN comes in several different formulas. I started with Sweet Almond Mint, recommended for dry hair, and have also used the Pomegranate, Fig, Winter Mint, and most recently the Fall Apple Spice formula. It has an unbelievably delicious scent!

If you're about to give up on your hair and resort to the scissors, please stop and try WEN first! You will be so glad you did!

WEN works wonders on taming thick, curly, dry hair which is what I have!

Here's how to use WEN! Chaz demonstrates.

WEN is awesome for hair of all types!

Here's how my hair looks now. I am so proud of it!
