Yarn Spinning - Winding.

The yarn that is spun on a Ring Frame or the Spinning Machine is on tubes and weighs only in grams with less than 90 grams in case of fine counts. This is not required in such small lengths for selling or for making it in to a fabric by the yarn manufacturer, that is the Textile Mill in this case for using the yarn to convert it in to cloth. The requirement will be several hundred thousand yards. The machine that converts the yarn on small 7 inch plastic tubes gets converted in to several hundred thousand yards on this machine with all imperfections removed like thin places, thick places, weak places, slubs etc.The imperfections are in recent times removed by electronic yarn cleaners. The Ring Frame yarn on Tubes is fed at the bottom which passes through the yarn cleaner's and once the yarn is wound completely the winding operation automatically stops and the cone lifts from the drum on which it is wound. The operative will feed the next Ring Tube till the required weight is obtained. The Cone is manually removed and a empty paper cone is inserted to the conical holder which grips the paper cone. The operation goes on till the operative working time is completed.A operative's production is linked to his wages or vice verse.

In a Modern Textile Mill this type of machine is out dated and a new machine which does all the operations except the continuous feed will be costing more than a Crore of Rs. which is compulsory for cost reduction and superior quality. This machine also monitors the yarn quality, they go by the name Auto Coners made by a Textile Machinery Manufacturer in Germany. This is also made by others but the German machine gets priority in good working and high quality.

This is the machine that yarn traders prefer over others.

If you hold one cone weighing 1.5 Kg it means you are holding a cone of 90's count having over 2,50,000 yards of Yarn.
