These are the most basic steps that we need to keep in mind in keeping our computers safe from the dangers of net, hackers and viruses and other forms of malicious online threats.

As the saying goes, "prevention is always better than cure".



What is a firewall? Firewall prevents unauthorized access from a private network and it helps protect the computer from unknown hackers. There are a lot of private and confidential information stored in our system. So better keep your files guarded and secured. It's better safe than sorry.


What is an Operating System or OS? OS is the most important program on our computer. They perform the basic tasks of the system. Since the OS is a vital component of the system software, we need to make sure that the latest updates are installed. They offer the latest protection against malicious online activities.


What is Antivirus / Antispyware Software Technology? This software will protect and defend your computer against viruses, trojan horse, worms and other form of malwares (or malicious softwares) that can do harm on the system. You need antivirus / antispyware technology to help prevent viruses and you need to keep it regularly updated so that it could recognize any new versions of malwares.


There are a lot of tools found on a system cleaner that can help you improve or enhance your computer to avoid freezing and slow-down. Scan the system at least twice a week to fix, clean, optimize and complete tune-up of your computer.       Most of the time I use to work without an antivirus because in windows operated computers the antivirus makes go slower. I am thinking to switch to Linux to forget about those problems.
