7 Main Priorities To Create A Big Traffic And Popular Blog

You know the problem. Creating a big traffic blog is harder to do nowadays. Search engines are getting too strict with their ranking process that it is almost impossible for new bloggers to create a successful blog. You will need more time and effort in order to make your blog popular, and probably more money too. But, you still can do it, only if you know the priorities that you need to do to make it happen. So, here are 7 main priorities to create a big traffic and popular blog:

1. Content Consistency

It doesn’t matter how often you update your blog. What matters is the consistency of your blog update. If you plan to update your blog once a day, then be consistent at it. If you plan to do it once a week or twice a month, then you should simply do it consistently. You have to ensure that your blog is always up to date with new content regularly. Also, be sure that your content can give big value for your readers.

2. Performance-Driven Design

Today, blog design carries a more important role in your blog success. There are more and more premium blog templates that are not only geared toward visual appeal, but also search engine performance as well. You should choose a blog design that will not only give professional look for your blog, but also boost your rank in the search engine. This is important to win the blogging rat race, though such a blog design might cost you more money.

3. The Right Tools And Plugins

You should use WordPress for your blogging business. Why? That’s because you’ll have enough tools and plugins to transform your blog into a great blog. Sure, you can use other blogging platforms, but it will simply not compete with other avid WordPress users that are utilizing the most powerful plugins for their blog optimization. So, if you want to attract good traffic to your blog, use the right tools and plugins that will help your blog to fly ahead of the competition.

4. Networking

Blogging without networking is a futile attempt. What does it mean? It means that networking is an integral part of blogging, and without it, you will simply lose in this game. The better you network with other bloggers as well as your readers, the more traffic and popularity that you will get for your blog. So, be shameless in building new relationships that can potentially help to make your blog a success. Hint: social media is your best friend.

5. Discussion

What can make a blog boring to read? The answer is lack of discussion. Good content, but no comment. How pathetic. Well, try to build some kind of discussion in each of your blog post. Try to provoke your readers into leaving their comments before they leave your blog. Engage with them in conversation, and make it interesting. Get involved with your readers.

6. Follow-Up System

Don’t just let your readers to leave your blog without leaving any trace. If you do that, you are wasting your traffic. But, if you have a good follow-up system, you are keeping your traffic, as well as making it multiplied. Entice your readers to leave their email address by giving them free offer that they can’t resist. Then, follow them up by sending additional information that will keep them feel excited with your blog.

7. Brand Building

You can’t make your brand popular without a good brand building. It’s your blog identity, and this is the one that you want people to notice. Brand building is important to build authority in your niche, and to establish good reputation for your blog. If you have a popular brand, people will trust it more, and they’ll come back for more without hesitation. They’ll even be your hardcore fans.

Those are the main priorities that you need to do in order to create a big traffic and popular blog. Remember that it’s getting harder for new blogs to attract big traffic, but by applying those priorities to your blog, you will make it a lot easier. Just do it.

Useful ideas, I think we often overlook some of the obvious things such as looking at the comments and seeing what they are asking. The comment section on any blog can be a gold mine for ideas. As you say, that is what they the readers are interested in.
