You Must Have Guessed It Right

Without any doubt, I may say it is known as "smartphones." Yes before entering the era of smartphones life was very peaceful and somehow steady too. And here in this era, it is becoming unpredictable, stressful and too fast and furious. The so-called "smartphones" are making life miserable. The little chip and sim is carrying our entire life!

How Are We Being Addicted To It?

Not really difficult to answer. It is ruling our lives and getting us addicted to it. Some of the major drawbacks are as follows:

It Keeps Us Awake:

So after a rough and tough day. I touch the bed to have a peaceful sleep and my eyelids are finally dropping down but hey wait for TINGGGGG! here comes the notification. Whether

  • A text message,
  • Tweets,
  • Facebook stories,
  • Instagram photos,
  • A reminder of lots and lots of things to do,
  • Mailbox
  • One of my favorite game etc.

My brain cells which were about to be dead are once again awake now. So here I am sitting leaving that cozy bed of mine for completing my projects. Or laying down with eyes wide open looking at photos, tweets, stories or texting back a friend. So my sleep is postponed!

And for all the supporters who say, it has a silent function so that screen light is enough to illuminate my dark room. Hence I get awake in both situations sadly!

Becoming our lifeline:

Yes in most of the cases it is as:

  • Wifi becomes more important than the wife.
  • Family gatherings are more likely to be the best cell phone gathering.
  • Selfies are becoming more important than conversations.
  • Family dinners are just a formality as the mind is not present and eyes are on the screen.
  • Happiness is having the latest version of ios and not family.
  • Life is all about photos, videos, messages, snap-chat, tweets, and feeds.
  • Even though many of us can't live without it in the toilet as well.

Can Be A Cause Of Your Depression/Headache

Yes, many a time it can be a cause of your depression. A blank phone without any calls, messages, notification can make you feel depress. The lust of having everything and being better by looking at those photos can lead you to depression.

  • Wrong, Unknown, Missed and Blackmailing Calls and Text Messages.
  • Viral, Violence videos
  • Competitive Marketing
  • Cluster Of Emails
  • Long hours Skype Calls/Meetings.
  • Hacked Accounts
  • Privacy Settings
  • Your Ex-status, posts, stories, and photos.

And what not! Still, remember the broken screens of my friends iPhone due to aggression. For her, it may be a relief but for me, it was a like a heart-attack( minor not major).

In The End

In the end, I am not saying that it is a deadly device killing generation but yes it is becoming a source for it. No wonder it has many positive attributes. Many people are earning, connecting, grooming, seeking knowledge through it. My only point is that we need to have control over our nerves and not make it a purpose of our living.

It feels as if:

"Technology is breaking the human-relation bond."
