Cheapest tablets in India
Tablet prices are coming down day by day. A considerable advance in this field was brought by 'Aakash' tablets from India. This tablet will be marketed at a price of Rs.3000 ($ 60). And will be distributed to students at a reduced price of Rs. 1750 ($ 35). It is a sudden decrease in price while the prices of other major brand tablets still remains at above Rs.20000.
Even though the price of Aakash tablet is less, it offers some interesting features that you cannot find in other tablets. Two full USB ports in which you can plug normal USB drives. Also a video processor in addition to the processor allowing you to play videos of high resolution also. But in first version of Aakash there are some drawbacks like slow processor, overheating, no front camera for videos calling etc. In aakash 2, going to be released by Datawind, all these problems will not be there and all phone functionalities also will be available in the tablets itself.
