Windows Chizz Cake

Updated on January 22, 2013

Dear Readers, it's been long since we are using computers. without any doubts, it has become an essential part of our life. However we often end up doing the same stuff over and over again which makes it pretty boring. So after sometime of working with it we become frustrated due to the same old screen being in front of us. Certainly it is one of the most useful things but how about having some fun with it once in a while.

LET'S SEE HOW CAN WE MAKE OUR WORKING HOURS FUN..

Trick:1: Name the Folder CON

When you are working on your computer, go to Desktop (Main Screen), Make a New Folder and Name it CON then press Enter. Do you see the Magic??

Amazing, isn't it? Microsoft Windows cannot name a folder 'Con' and amusingly no one at Microsoft is able to explain it. J

Trick:2: Bush hid the facts

For this open a blank notepad, type above mentioned words in same way 'Bush hid the facts'. Now save it with any name. Close the file and re-open it. A Weird Bug, ain't it?

Like Trick:1 no one is able to explain this either. J

Trick:3: =rand(200,99)

Let's now move on to Microsoft Word. Open Microsoft Word and type above given command as it is and then press Enter. Amazed to see 567 pages of note turn up???

Well, including Bill Gates himself not a single person from Microsoft is able to answer this.

Trick:4: Q33N

This is something shocking. Open Notepad and type Q33N. Now Increase font size to 72 and change the fonts to Wingdings. Shocked!!! Wait Shocking is still to come.

Q33N was the flight number one of the planes which hit The Twin Towers on 9/11.

Trick:5: Movie On MS Paint

This Trick is very simple and fun. Have you ever thought about watching movie on MS-Paint? Sounds weird, doesn’t it? Well let me tell you that you can watch it. How? Start a Movie using any Movie player on your computer. Now Open MS-Paint. Now open the player where movie is being played (Don’t pause or stop the movie in the player). Press Print Screen Button on your keyboard. Now open MS-Paint and press Ctrl+V.

Did you ever thought about watching a movie on MS-Paint!!! J

Trick:6: Shutdown –S

What I am going to share with you is something you (Most of you) might not have thought about. Go to Desktop (Main Screen)à Right Click (Not on any Icon but on Wallpaper) à Click on ‘Shortcut’ Now where it says Location Area type ‘shutdown –s’ and press NextàGive any name and Click Finish.. Now you are back on Main screen and there is an icon created. Double click on it.. Amazed!!! Yes, you have created a shortcut to Shutdown your Computer. J

You can replace –s with –r for Reboot or –l for Logout Shortcut.. Enjoy..

Trick:7: Restart Without Restart

Sounds weird, doesn’t it?? Well but it is possible. Simple trick is Hold the Shift key while clicking on Shutdown button (Not Shortcut). This will make your computer reboot without restarting your Windows. This is same as ‘Hot Reboot’

Trick:8: osk

Lot of us might have tried virtual keyboard available in Start Menu option but did you know this? You can also open it via the command ‘osk’. Click on Start à Run à Type osk and hit Enter.. and there you go. Now you have a keyboard on your desktop too.. J

Trick:9: Listen To PDF Document

Bored of reading Long PDF documents? Well, how bout listening to them? For Acrobat 6.0 and 7.0 use the following commands:

Ctrl+Shift+bà Listen to the whole document

Ctrl+Shitf+và Listen to a page

Ctrl+Shift+cà Resume

Let’s make reading fun!!!
