iPhone 5's funny story

This is a story of my friend MobSkin. Strange name yeah? He was not given this name by his parents, I assure you. But, none of the friends remember his real name. It all started when he bought his shiny new iPhone 5 few days back.

He was crazy about his gadget, instant love you see. Nobody amongst the mortals could separate his beloved device from him. He used to take care of his baby like... well his own baby. But MobSkin was a careless person by nature. Once the initial fascination wore off, he started treating his iPhone 5 like his previous phone. It was not that he stopped loving his phone, the love just got to the background. Something akin to the loving couples, crazily in love for more than two years.

And one day the worst happened. MobSkin's two year old nephew Chaos was accidently set loose as the kiddo's mother was taking her rare time off. Chaos was really fascinated by his uncle's one and only love, after all the gadget was taking the attention due for himself. He was very curious about the little black box who made his uncle neglect his tantrums. Chaos found the iPhone lying alone, what a luck! The li'l guy started playing with the device.

It was not long before MobSkin started missing his beloved iPhone. Instant search operation, and what did he see? Chaos was trying to taste the cause of his uncle's isolation from the world!

In haste, MobSkin snapped away the poor device, but the deed was done. His iPhone had a lot of scratches and marks.

To protect it from further harm, one of MobSkin's friends advised him to visit a mobile skin store. After his brief visit to the flashy store and a couple of websites, MobSkin felt his iPhone 5 was looking badly in need of some restoration. Indeed, he thought, how did he ignore the fact till now, that the shiny brand new black had since long turned into a boring monotonous darkness.

So he brought his beloved a brand new look. The skin - ultimate protector - was an elegant dark blue striped texture with subtle matte finish. His friends adored the new look. The week was devoted to mockery of those who chose more flashy skins for their mobile devices and changed them too frequently, unnecessarily - the skins were there to protect the phones after all.

But soon, MobSkin's favorite sports event was shining brightly at the horizon. Now, what would he have waited for? He went to the skin's website and ordered a new skin, customized to feature the grandeur of his favorite team. He was a loyal supporter.

His support didn't work though and his team lost... now people, especially the winning team supporters, were mocking him whenever he got his beloved iPhone out of his pocket. So he decided to his poor love a new avtaar.

He changed his skins lot of times - a famous painting, then one of the seven wonders, even his dream car. But nothing lasts forever, and Mobskin's friend kept losing interest in new skins in few days. Finally, peer pressure generated a bright idea, Mobskin thought his second love would fit the bill. So he got a hot picture of his favorite actress stuck on his mobile. That was flashy indeed - and gained him instant admiration from all the ogling batch mates.

Then something dreadful happened. Yeah, the day was more dreadful than the Chaos lucky day. MobSkin fell in love. Yup, he fell in love with a girl. A really sweet girl, with a very sweet smile and to top it all, she was good natured too. Obviously she was nick named Sweetie. For some time, she tried not to give it away, but soon MobSkin figured out that Sweetie didn't find his iPhone's Skin sweet.

So he thought it was time for another change.

This time, he thought, he would really customize it. And to please his girlfriend, he got his iPhone's back display a lovely image of a newly associated couple - yeah you guessed it right - who else - himself and Sweetie.

Then there was a slight complication. Sweetie was so happy and so fond of this image on the iPhone, that she really was scared - of the stains or scratches the poor skin might have to endure. So, these days MobSkin is looking for a second Mobile skin - to protect the protector of his first love - iPhone 5.
