Updated on June 12, 2011

Gaming Mouse :- MX-518

Gaming mouse:-

There are various Gaming mouse available in Market from 30 $ to 300 $ but this is one of the best mouse (Logitech Mx-518) in terms of Efficiency, Comfort as well as price. it is not heavy on your pocket as its Price is just around 30 $.

Logitech Mx-518 Features:-

1800-dpi MX Optical Engine: Experience ultra-high resolution and pixel-precise tracking.

Adjustable Sensitivity: Shift from pixel-precise targeting to high-G maneuvers, without pausing the action.

8-Button Design: Don’t skip a beat. Your favorite controller functions map directly to your MX 518.

Image Processing:    5.8 megapixels per second

Usage :-                    For Professional gamers, not advised for noobs :p

1. It'll really enhance game play, you can change sensitivity on the fly, that means suppose if you are playing counter strike 1.6, usually pro gamers keeps low sensitivity for sniping while higher while assaulting, so when they are assaulting and want to switch to sniper they can change it by pressing the key of the mouse, thats changing sensitivity on the fly.

2. Too many Keys to handle:-

there are total of 5 Extra keys that you can assign to anything, like Back, Forward,  Internet Explorer, Cut, Copy, Paste, Maximize, Minimize or closing window, if you even have a little knowledge about windows then you can do anything with it.

Only for right Handers

Using Software

The MX518 includes a software called "SetPoint" to bind the buttons on the mouse for Windows use as explained before. The software also controls general mouse settings, and settings specific to the MX518.

Explaining DPI :-

You might wonder what is DPI?

DPI is Dots per inches, you can adjust it from 400 Dpi's to 2000 Dpi here,

so when the mouse is in 2000 Dpi and  if u move mouse only 1 inch. so the cursor will move from  left side to the ride side till the end, when its on 400 DPI u'll hv to slide the mouse almost 4-5 inches.

And the Best thing is that i own it :P :)

I hope you like it!
