How to Get 100,000 views on Youtube!
Milestones on youtube don't always happen and when they do, they often times take time and dedication, unless you're a baby or cute cat! Reaching any type of milestone on youtube requires much effort on your part. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
1. Have Great Engaging Content
A college style lecture is probably not going to get millions of views or likes or anything else. Students taking the classes probably would not want to watch it! Keep this in mind before you hit the upload button. Make sure you like what you're putting up and you have an audience for it.
2. Be Consistent
You could have the greatest content but if people can't access new content regularly, you open the door for them to easily forget about you. This is probably one of the hardest things to do but it is something to strive for. Imagine Michael Jackson only putting out 1 album every 8 years...
3. Thank Your Viewers
No one has to watch your content, if they do they do it by choice! When someone comments on your videos, respond to them. This is after all still social media. People want to have a dialog, that's part of the point. You wouldn't ignore your friends when they talk to you so engage with your viewers. You'll like it anyway because they will likely like the things that you like.
4. Don't Give Up
Things will likely go slow in the beginning. Keep in mind that you are just starting. Everyone who is good and even great at something was once a beginner, making slow progress and improvements before they reached their goals. The same can happen to and for you, just hang in there!
