Google releases its Laptop-Chrome oS arrives
The Google Chrome Laptop

The Google laptop is here!
Finally, the long awaited Google computer is here. It is time to find out how Chrome does on a "custom-made" machine.
At the time of going to press, Google is distributing the laptop on its pilot program (You have to apply to be on the program apparently, but I have not investigated that yet). Coming with a fancy name "Cr-48",it will only be available to the public come mid 2011.
The specs of the new laptop are as follows
1. Webcam
2.Flash Storage
3.12.1- inch screen
4. Full sized keyboard
5.Oversized clickpad ( I love that)
6.Qualcomm Gobi 3G chip for Verizon data in the united States and other carriers are accommodated internationally.
7. 802.11n dual-ban Wifi
8. 8+ hours of active use-An interesting point for mobile computing.
9. 8+days of standby.
The laptop looks like it is down to do the work, though some changes to the key board might be a source of discomfort for those who do not like such changes.
Looking forward to how this will do technically and see if it will rattle the market in any way.
