Headphones, Earphones are you Crazy about them?

Updated on December 31, 2011

YES I AM CRAZY ABOUT THEM

and that craziness led me to write this hub which I hope will interest everyone who loves music, gadgets and headphones too..

I just love headphones

Eversince my younger days, I am already fascinated with this. In fact my very first set of headphone was the one with radio installed in it and was cordless.. At that time having an item like those is a kind of "Techy" to me. Headphone and Earphone then were often associated with cassette player and/or walkman, then later on with CD player or discman. But these headphones and earphones became really popular in this age of MP3, Ipod and Itouch. Gosh they are everywhere in different shapes and colors, and it's like me becoming a teenager again, now I have at least 6 sets of headphones in my collection and I know the number will still grow in the future.

Trendy Headphones come in cheaper prices

Headphones or earphones are everywhere, before you can only buy them at any music store or record bars in a mall or shopping centers. Now you can also buy them at any gadget stores, whether in the biggest mall or those simple stores where the people with average income usually go.

Depending on your taste and satisfaction, you can get an earphone at a cheapest price of P50 or Fifty Pesos, my cheapest Headphone is P120.00. With too many headphones in different shapes and colors, someone like me who has passion for them can't resist to buy when one attracted me that much.. the louder the sound it produces the better...

Headphone Evolution

Beats by Dr. Dre is one of the most popular Headphone brand that landed not only in Philippines but in South Korea too. My favorite actress Hajiwon has a photo wearing one, 2ne1 members also wore those headphones (in different colors)in their Music Video "fire-space".

The headphone that Hajiwon used in the picture is worth P16,000. My nephew is using a Beat by Dr. Dre earphone and it cost around P9,000.

Regardless of prices, there are some headphones in cheaper prices but has satisfying sound, so it is just your choice really.

If you want to stay away from cord, you can try the Bluetooth Headset.... the cheapest one is worth P350.00

Enjoying the colors

For someone who loves headphones and colors, the latest innovation of combining technology and colors in cheaper prices, is like a dream came true. Obviously if you love headphones it means you love music so definitely, one set of gadget may not be enough, or friends and relatives who know you as gadget crazy will give one as a gift, and it's not a bad idea to have a collection. My cousin gave me my first Apple Ipod, the smallest one with 1gb, it has the set of music that is a combination of modern and past genre. Then came my Nokia X3-02 where in adding music is as easy as copy and paste thing.... all my extra special music is in here, the 80's, 90's and even those remixes and long versions that I downloaded from Youtube...

Then latest in my collection is my 3rd Gen. Itouch, which is my cousin's christmas present to me... My nephew downloaded his kind of music in it, KPOP, Chris Brown, Black eyes peas, Pitbull and other kind of music that someone my age may rarely like LOL... But I decided not to change the collection, In fact I am beginning to like it..

so with all those gadgets, the colorful headphones are perfect match to them. I enjoyed changing the casing of the cellphone and itouch to mix and match it with the headphones. For me they are perfect plus the fact that those headphones and casings are really not expensive.

Durability

Durability sometimes depends on the one who uses it. The headphone worth P120 is durable enough... Just be vigilant always when choosing or when buying a product, as much as possible try it first if it's working well with your gadgets; and once you bought it, it depends on you on how to prolong the life of it. remember it was not an expensive item so most probably it won't last long if you don't use it properly.

Although my headphones are not that expensive, since it's my collection, I have a choice to use them alternately depending on my moods and favorite for the week. Not using them too often will likely make them durable and preserved... so the more the merrier thing applies here...
