How To Add Google +Share Button Onto Your Toolbar In IE, Safari and Chrome
How To Add That Little Red Google + Button To Internet Explorer.
HubPages has now added the Google+ button for us. I'm so glad.
I do have the button g+ on my toolbar and it works just as well for placing hubs you like on Google+. You can have it too if you have the Google toolbar. I have Google as my default search engine and have the toolbar. If you have the toolbar, you will find on the Google toolbar a little wrench to the right, click on the wrench and click ABOUT GOOGLE TOOLBAR and click SHARE.
You will find under share all kinds of places you can share the article you are reading or have written whether it’s a blog or a hub. I don’t know if you have to make Google your default search engine or not or if you can just put the Google toolbar on without it being the default engine. I have just always used Google on Windows Internet Explorer.
You will find below how to add the Google toolbar. You will also find how to add the g+ to Google Chrome and Safari.
Here are some of the different share items in Internet Explorer.
Blogger
Deliciours
Digg
Gmail
Google+
Google Reader
Hotmail
Adding Google To Your Toolbar.
There are many more sites than what I have listed here. Just put a check mark in the site you want to show up on your toolbar. Under VIEW MORE SERVICES, there are more sites.
When I make a new hub I hit the little red button right away. I never use Facebook.
When you're viewing something you like all you have to do is click the Google+ or another button and it will be placed right on those sites. You do have to be signed into your site, whether it be StumbleUpon or G+. I think this button is so handy. The extra buttons can be used to spread your hubs around for more views.
Your Google toolbar should show up at the top of your browser. If it’s not at the top of the browser, go to VIEW ~ TOOLBARS and make sure there is a check in Google Toolbar.
Hope this helps Hubbers that would like that little red button back.
Adding the G+ To Chrome.
If you go to the link below and look down the page you will find the red G+ button to add to your Chrome toolbar, click it and it will appear to the right on your toolbar. The G+ button is not very bright, but it will show up next to the marks you see in the photo on the right. You can also add more buttons like Pinterest.
On your Customize and Control Google Chrome on the right (three orange/reddish lines) click it and go to Tools and click Extensions and you will see the different sharing buttons you have downloaded.
- Chrome Web Store
Small programs that add new features to your browser and personalize your browsing experience.
How To Install Google Toolbar On Safari
To place the google + on Safari open your Safari go to http://www.bbshare.com/.
On the right side you will see Google Toolbar for Safari, at the bottom there's a download now in red click on that. When the box comes up click OPEN and then click INSTALL. This will install the Google toolbar on Safari and on that bar will be the Google + button for sharing any page you would like to share on GOOGLE +.

These are good tips for adding G plus. I just share stuff directly on G plus when I am logged in, but I am sure many would appreciate the sharing button.
I enjoy using G+ and fond this very helpful.
Good info
This is great thanks! I am always trying to add something, find something or just do something! lol! so this is bookmarked and really helpful!
Thanks for the great tip. I use Google+ so its easy now to share hub on Twitter and Google+
Some great info that I did not know, you are a "gem." I will certainly check this out and do what I must do.
Voted up, UABI and shared.
I use Chrome and I will certainly try to add Google+. I'd love to share articles on there. Thanks for the good info.
Voted UP,etc. and shared.
Great information. Since I get the mysterious feeling that people are slowly abandoning the Facebook ship, I think it is time I diversified my social media portfolio. I too use Google Chrome for my browser so I think I will check this out.
There is so much to learn about these SEO features. You've explained this one quite nicely. I recently added the Google plus button on my blog but I'm not sure I did it right. Now I can double check. Thank you for the explanation.
Thank you for this timely information. I was just reading the forums about the missing G+ button and it looks like this might be my answer. Going to install it in a minute. Voted useful!
This reminded me that I still haven't added the Google toolbar to my Hubs and need to do it! I have bookmarked this will come back soon, when I have time to really follow your instructions. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing this very useful information. I´m not a techy person so, I always need help from other hubber. Happy weekend!
This is very interesting. I'm not very techy, so I find this information very helpful and useful!
It's absolutely unbelieveable that hubpages doesn't use G+. G+ is a newer social network that's growing fast. It's only owned by google. You know, the people that send the vast majority of hubpages' traffic. Just tonight I had someone come to my page and say "Sorry I couldn't share your post hubpages doesn't have a G+." Sorry I'm ranting :D haha Good to see you again moonlake and good post!
This is very helpful. Thanks for posting!
There is strong evidence that Google + votes are now included in the ranking factors of a site or page. Hubpages should add G+ button.
Good information, Hubpages really should add g+ back. Google plus isn't going anywhere and it's a great network for blog promotion.
Going to pin this information so that I can easily find it and also share it with others. Thanks again!
Thank you for sharing this useful information. Not sure it will work for Mac computers as Safari is my browser. I do have a google account and a blog with google.
Voting up, useful, awesome and sharing!
Thank you for the instructions, I believe Google+ is becoming so important to online business marketing, while Facebook seems to be less vital from a business perspective. Perhaps HubPages needs to rethink?
Up, interesting, useful and shared.
Tweeting and pinning this hub. Thanks again for writing it.
Hi moon lake, I usually use firefox and find the info you gave interesting. Voting it up and sharing on twitter.
Interesting information on the Google + button and setting it up. Thumbs up and shared.
moonlake,
This is really great information about adding the Google Button. I don't have Google as a search engine now, but I will definitely be changing after reading this hub. Thank you so much for sharing. Voted up and sharing and tweeting.
moonlake, I've been asking this question for the past few weeks. I didn't realize HP took this tool away. I was researching and trying to add it in myself, not realizing it could not be done. Thank you for another great hub!
Super cool! Thanks moonlake! Voted up for this informative article.
Oh thank you so much! I have been wanting a google plus button on my chrome browser toolbar. While reading your hub I thought I wasn't going to be able to get it on chrome and then I got to the end and saw that I could. I'm a happy camper! Voted up and pinned!
Moonlake, I wish we could get the G+ button back on our hubs, but I appreciate you teaching us how to get around that by placing it in our toolbar. I did not realize the other options would pop up. Always love learning something new. :-)
Votes and shares!
Thanks for the info on G+. I am on it, but understand nothing about it, and rarely use it. I think I just installed it, but I'm not sure. I would have thought that after all these years, I'd be more aware of how it all works. Not so!
that's interesting! thanks for sharing moonlake
I also miss the Google+ button and plan to add it to my toolbar with your useful instructions. It will be much easier than the way I was doing it before! Thanks!
Ah, that's cool. That's so much easier than cutting and pasting my links one at a time to share on G+.
The only thing we can count on is change! Every time we get used to something the powers that be decide to change it...that includes good old Google and Google Chrome. This is a timely hub Moonlake with good advice.
Voted up and useful.
Thanks moonlake for this information about how to use the Google+ button. Up and useful votes!
