Incompatible Application

Incompatible Applications on android have always been a problem for older versions of android devices now becoming a problem. However unlike an iPhone, on android this problem can be fixed by various method from which one I am going to mention in this article. Another way of dealing with this kind of problem is by rooting your device, but that action can cause you loose your warranty and your device can also get bricked in the process. Although the android devices with an older version of android are already out of their warranty but still rooting your device to run an application which might still not run greatly on your device is not worth the risk.

An example of an application not supported by your device

To install these incompatible softwares or applications your android device would only require two application which are available for free on the Google play store, so installing them won't be a hassle.

1. SDK Reader

2. APK Editor

Step 1: Download the App

First you need to download the app or game that you want to Install. Now if you could download that application from the Google play store the there wouldn't have been any reason for this article to be written in the first place. There are several websites that you can download your app and game from. Some of these websites are

1. Apkpure.com

2. Mob.org

You can also get that app from sharing method from someone that already has that application on their device. Common application for that is Zapya but there are still several apps that offer that service.

Step 2: Check Your API Level

Now the apps that you have previously downloaded will be of use. You will need your api level number which can not be known from the settings or information on your phone. For that you will need SDK Reader. When you have opened the app, it will mention your API Level. You have to note down that number

Step 3: Open APK Editor And Find Your Application

Then you need to open the app APK Editor and then select the option select an apk file.

Then you need to find your app that you downloaded it will probably be in the download folder or you can search your application.

Then select your app and then select the option common edit.

Step 4: Change the Minimum SDK Version

Then you after selecting common edit you need to change the minimum SDK version with your API level that you saw in the app SDK Editor. After that you need to select save. After that the app will start loading and will take some time. After that it will give you the option to install after installing you have successfully installed the app or game you wanted.

Step 5: Enjoy Your Application

Now that you have successfully installed your required app it's time to enjoy the fruit of all your hard work and run that application on your android device.
