Incase Nylon Laptop Sleeve (MacBook Pro 13") Review

Updated on January 7, 2012

Last month, when I bought my new 2011 MacBook Pro, I got a sleeve for it as I didn't want to get any marks or scratches on it. I went to the nearest Best Buy and looked at the various bags, cases and sleeves. After about 20 minutes, I decided that the Incase Nylon Sleeve was right for me. In this post I will go through the features on the bag that are extremely useful for my lifestyle.

The main reason I bought this was because it had a shoulder strap and handles. The shoulder strap is a great way to support your precious computer while looking stylish. The main problem with this strap is that it can be a bit overbearing on your shoulders. Luckily, it has the handles that conveniently let you hold the bag.

On the front of the bag, there are two mid-sized compartments. These are useful for storing my charger as well as a few pens/ pencils and my cellphone. The bag would be pointless without these and I will not put anything hard in the bag with my computer (yes I am that paranoid).

The back of the bag has a nice magazine pouch. Although I don't need it regularly, when I travel, I usually carry around a Mac World or Mac Life magazine to read on the plane.

I believe this bag is very functional, not just for me, but anyone else, whether the have the same or different needs. It does what I need it to do and more with a touch of style. If you are interested in this bag, check it out on Amazon.
