No Google Page Rank Toolbar with Chrome?

Updated on March 5, 2012

Google Toolbar is a browser toolbar offered by Google and is compatible by the major browsers. One of the most important ingredients of Google Toolbar is the Google Page Rank Tool, which helps you to see the Google Page Rank of a particular website. Google Page Rank is one of the most important accreditation given by Google and Google takes various criteria into consideration while given a Page Rank out of 10 to any websites.

The more the page rank, the better would be its grading by Google and most of the webmasters try various online marketing activities and search engine optimization methods to improve the page rank of a particular website. Earlier webmasters gave more importance to the page rank as it really helped in the overall search engine ranking for a website. But these days webmaster care more about the traffic or visits that a website is getting rather than going after page rank.

But Page Rank still holds its importance and a website having a good page rank is often approached by other website owners to submit their advertisement and placing their links. This would be an extra source of online income for the website owner as he could easily make money online without spending too much time. The only thing that he has to do is to continue his website promotional activities and improve the page rank so that more advertisers contact him and more money he earns through the website. A website with higher page rank has a huge market value and can easily fetch you huge money if you try to sell such website.

Let Us Come to the Point
This hub is not aimed at providing class on what Google Page rank is all about and how we can make money by getting better page rank. I am writing this hub, just to show my disappointment over a browser that is expected to support and show all the Google tools, but is not at all showing the most important Google toolbar. And the browser is none other than Chrome, Google's own browser.

Before Chrome, my favourite browser was Firefox and Google Toolbar was also compatible with Firefox. But few months back, Google announced that it no longer offers Google Toolbar privilege with Firefox browser and this was really a bad news for me. Now I had to rely upon Internet Explorer (IE) which continued its compatibility with Google Toolbar, but to say frankly I am not at all comfortable with IE and hate browsing using this most reputed browser.

At this time Chrome was gaining global popularity, and since it was a product of Google, I expected it to support Google Toolbar. But much to my excitement, I found out that Google Toolbar is not available for Chrome and still feels surprised why Google it not offering its most important tool to its own browser. Google Chrome is having an increasing rate of users every day and most of the users might be interested in having Google Toolbar option for Chrome.

But Why?
Despite all these I am still wondering why Google is not offering Google Toolbar option for Chrome which is fastly becoming one of the most used browser in the world. If Google provides this option, I am pretty sure that it would help Chrome a lot in become the leader among browsers. I know a large number of people who have stopped using Chrome simply for the reason that it is not supporting Google Toolbar. So I would love to see Google offering its Toolbar option to Chrome and people like me can use this to see the Google PageRank of websites. May be Google might be having this in mind and would soon come out with this option. This would surely increase the popularity of this cool browser and more and more users would start using this browser.
