Buy a Computer Keyboard Cleaner - A Necessary Device

A Naive Mistake

I once worked for a company that gave closed book licensing exams for insurance companies, doctors, electricians, cosmetologists, etc. I was the person who registered the students, verified their name and walked around and made sure no one cheated.

Every morning before the office opened, I turned on the computers, checked the cubicles, and brought out the office supplies for the day. One daily task was to turn each keyboard upside down and gently bump it on the cubicle table. You would be amazed at how much stuff would fall out. Pencil filings, dirt, bits of shredded paper, and a paper clip here and there; things you could miss seeing with the naked eye.

I did the same thing with my personal laptop, until I had a really great idea. Why tip it upside down, when I have a perfectly good dust buster that I can slide over the keys? It worked with other small cleaning jobs. So, I turned on the vacuum and started to clean my laptop keyboard. As my Shift key on the left and my Up Arrow on the right were both sucked up in the dust buster, I screamed in horror.

You know the rest. I emailed my family about the disaster. All was lost! My livelihood had been sucked up by wind. Fortunately for me I have nieces who are extremely savvy about computers. You have to bring a computer to college now, you know? One niece told me to buy a replacement keyboard and one of her friends would install it for me.

Of course I ordered the wrong laptop keyboard. When my niece’s friend insisted that I had ordered the wrong one, I was incensed. My laptop was too important to make such a mistake. After all, I had made sure of the correct type when I ordered it from the discount computer parts store online.

My niece convinced me to order another keyboard from Amazon.com. I was very surprised at the quantity and quality of their computer products. For less than twenty dollars I bought a new keyboard and a computer vacuum cleaner. The keyboard was installed, and I returned to the business and pleasure of writing.

A computer vacuum cleaner is small in size. It can be used for either a laptop or a PC. It makes a vast difference in maintaining your keyboard. It plugs into a side USB port and starts right up. It has a small built-in light so you can see between the keyboard cracks and crevices. As I gently slid the device over the keyboards, I was surprised at its amazingly strong suction. It certainly beat tipping the laptop upside down trying to discard crumbs and dust.

Happy with My Purchase

It was one of the best purchases I have made. I have made cleaning my computer of dust and other messes a weekly duty. I do the same with my computer screen.

I recently upgraded my computer cleaner device. It costs very little to keep your computer in good running order. I consider it an excellent investment.
