At the recent PS5 reveal event held on June 11, 2020, Sony finally revealed the Console for the first time. The futuristic design caught attention around the world. The launch event also gave some hints about the game lineup for PS5. There were some speculations about PlayStation 5 that were in the air until they reveal the actual story in the launch event.

The Design

At the Reveal event, Sony finally revealed the design of the console. Just like the DualSense controllers, the console also shares a similar two-tone design. The White and Black theme differ totally from all the previous consoles. The blue ambient lighting in the console gives it a futuristic look.

Sony PlayStation 5 comes with two different variants. One with HD Blu-Ray disc drive installed and the other without the disc drive as PS5 Digital Edition. The controller comes with similar blue ambient lighting. The console stands on a black stand that makes it more appealing. However, the charging stand for the controllers adds in the setup's beauty.

New Technology

Sony has always surprised us with the amazing technology. Similarly, this time Sony has equipped the PlayStation 5 with AMD chip. Its CPU is based on Ryzen-third-generation, a seven-nano-meter eight-core chip. PlayStation will also support 8K game-play and 3D audio. The console contains Radeon Navi line Graphics Card.

The console contains SSD hard drive that means it will reduce loading time. The SSD would make the game-play much smoother. The movement detail would be much faster, which means Games like Call of Duty would be fun playing on PS5. The SSD would also reduce the installation time for games and updates. PlayStation 5 game discs have 100 GB disc capacity. The Consoles also supports 4K at 120 Hz. If you have a powerful TV, get ready for some amazing graphics and much smoother game-play. You can change your TV settings according to the console setting for better graphics.

Game Line-up

The PlayStation 5 game line up is mind-blowing. It comprises the most amazing games are to come. The graphics and the gameplay are much improved in all the games. Some of my favorite games like Gran Turismo 7, Hitman 3, and GTA V online are on the list. Surely the list would increase by the time and we would see many fresh games would come out after the release of PlayStation 5.

The complete list contains:

  • Astro's Playroom

Pre-Order PlayStation 5 Games

The Price

Now comes the price. Although Sony did not reveal the price at the reveal event, Sony announced that the price would be attractive for the gaming community. The company has learned from previous experiences like the huge price tag of PS3. We can sense that the price of PS5 would be much more reasonable and affordable. However, on the internet, the price rumors are around $400 to $500 for the standard version. According to the previous consoles we can that the price for the digital version of PS5 would be less than the Blu-Ray disc drive version. The suspected price tag for a console of such quality and amazing features is an easy decision.

Release Date

This is the most asked question these days: When Sony would release PS5? The company did not reveal the release date, but they confirmed that it would come out around the holiday 2020. We have seen companies do not reveal the release date to continue the hype and suspense. We have seen in the past. Mostly consoles released in November. However, the pre-order facility is available.

Overall, The New PlayStation 5 is an excellent choice for a wholesome gaming experience. The additional features and latest technology in the console has much more to offer. Surely this console would give some tough time to its rivals. PlayStation 5's reveal event already shows that it will be an ultimate gaming machine.
