Purseket Organizes Purses and Tote Bags

Updated on August 30, 2011

The Purseket is a purse or tote bag organizer. The bottom of your purse does not need to be the home for every item in your purse ever again.

What is a Purse Organizer

A purse organizer can come in many forms but they all accomplish the same thing. Most purses or tote bags do not have enough pockets to hold the items that typically hang loose at the bottom. Even those purses that claim to have organizational pockets cannot accomplish what a Purseket can.

A purse organizer will either be a ring of pockets that stand up on the bottom of a purse or tote bag or it will be a bag within a bag. The pockets vary in size but will typically hold a cell phone, a digital camera, assorted electronic gadgets, makeup, sunglasses, ink pens, combs, notepads – the list goes on and on. In the center there is an open space large enough for a wallet, a hair brush or other larger item.

Who needs a Purse Organizer

I do not know anyone that does not need a purse organizer. Anyone that carries a bag needs one.

Women can save hours a week that once was spent hunting for keys. Teens learn to be organized and spend less money on items that they already own. Anyone that carries a tote bag could use a purse organizer to separate items needed throughout the day.

A mobile office is a great idea. Stamps, scissors, envelopes, ink pens, stationary, business cards or even greeting cards. As the day goes by receipts could fill up one of the pockets. Simply empty each pocket of the items that are not needed for the next day and you are ready to go again.

How does the Purseket keep a Purse Organized

The Purseket is has a total of 6 pockets that stand 7 inches high. That is a good height because even a deep purse or tote bag can accommodate it. Each pocket is a different size starting at 3 inches wide increasing to 6 inches wide. The end pocket measures 5 inches and has a flap to keep small items together or to keep items private.

The Purseket is available in different sizes. The medium Purseket fits in purse or bag measuring at least 11 inches wide by at least 7.5 inches tall.

Bright colors and designs are available as well as solid more neutral colors.

Debbie’s Opinion

I like the Purseket. I own and use a purse organizer that is similar. I like the Purseket design better because it is a bit taller and the cheerful fabrics makes it easier to find things in a dark bag.

I sometimes use two purse organizers in one bag. I combine a bag in a bag design and the circle of pockets design to accommodate the many items I carry. My purse is a barrel style and the purse organizers fit in it perfectly. The pockets on one organizer face to the inside and I turn the pockets of the other to the outside. This varies the sizes and accessibility of the pockets.

I guess you could call me a purse organizer advocate. Once you try one you will never go back to the black hole once called your purse.
