This company has a very dark history in year 2009 they said that they are bankrupt and they cannot offer their services to their customers and they cannot pay their dept. Although they get back from this in a very short time and they are one of the biggest companies that service nearly 5 million customers across the United States.

In 2013, Charter bought Optimum West from for $1.63 billion, which gives Charter a larger infrastructure in the West. This internet service provider provides internet plans with speeds from 35 Mbps to 105 Mbps in areas where they can provide their services.

This company offers different kinds of plans and it depends on you that what type of service you want for yourself. They offer two types of plans and it is up to you that what type of you wants for yourself, in the west region they offer the plan with download speed of 15mbps and upload speed upto3mbps.

In other areas where their service quality is good you can expect the download speeds up to 30mbps and upload speed up to 5mbps. In some areas their service quality is too good and they can offer the speed up to 100mps but you have to pay more this service.

Charter provider’s services to most of the United States and you can expect decent speeds from them. They had upgraded their infrastructure to provide better services to its customers. They provide good service to almost all areas but some areas get more decent service due to its location.

Same thing can happen to you because the internet depends on the technology that is being used and the servers that are close to your homes. In some areas the speeds are very good while in some areas the speeds are not that good so your luck also counts when it comes to things like this.

Fast Speed and Free Modem

If fast download levels are the most significant thing to you in an Internet service provider, then Charter's Ultra 100 plan can work awesome for you. Even if you do not need fast Internet, the fact that Charter provides speeds this fast is amazing because they are not one of the biggest providers in the nation.

Charter contains a free device with every one of their Internet packages. This is a great offer that little other cable Internet service providers offer and it could save you a lot of cash. It is pretty typical in the industry for businesses to charge hardware lease fees for the device they provide, and although it may only be a few bucks a month, the cost adds up rapidly.

Lot of Bundle Options

Charter provides several two- and three-service packages to choose from. If you do not like any sort of their most popular packages, you can constantly create your personal. You can choose your cable Internet bundle and add in television and phone services if you like.

Choices like these make it easy to get precisely what you are searching for at a good cost. If Charter is presented in your area, it's probably to be your standard choice for Internet and TV unless of course you want satellite television services.

Increase in Price and Expensive Activation

Costs for cable Internet marketed on Charter's websites only survive for 12 months. These costs then enhance, and they go up again after 2 years of servicing. After the second price boost, the prices finally stay stable. If you're the type of individual who likes to secure in one price for an extended period of time period, these cost increases can get irritating and they are often sudden.

Charter's Ultra 100 plan is one of the improved cable Internet plans in existence, but it does arrived with a pretty high activation charge. It is only a 1-time fee, and you do have a lot with this package, but understanding that other services don't charge an activation charge may hassle some people. If fast Internet is your top concern, it's always worth it, but do not be astonished by a high first bill when you begin your services.
