Sins on the internet
Beware of the lures
I felt the need to quickly write about this as it came to me. No editing or proof reading.

Be strong, resist the flesh and the enemy.
We live in an era of increasing sin. With the invention of the internet, smart phones, social network sites and the legion of apps come the increase of sin and the ability to engage in sin much easier.
The social network sites can be great for connecting with or reconnecting with people, they can also be used for meeting with people who are like-minded.
However, many relationships have been destroyed because of these social networking sites. Affairs have been started on them. Many people cheat using these sites and it is very easy to hide ones activity…for a while.
There are also apps that people can use, these apps are specifically designed for cheaters, they allow the user to hide his/her activity on their smart phones.
Then there are also the websites that are specifically designed for cheaters, one night stands etc.
These are just a couple of examples where sin is encouraged using modern technology.
All of this is shocking, actually it is out right disgusting. I am surprised as to how many people use these tools.
Why is it that people feel the need to cheat on their partners?
They seem to think that they can get away with it for ever However, they do not realize that the internet is a close knit community, and that word gets out. People they are cheating with are not as closed mouthed as they think, these people like to brag about their flings. And somewhere someone is saving all the information that they gather of that cheater.
The internet really is an open book, nothing is safe or secure. But this is beside the point.
People need to realize that the life they are living will lead them to destruction, and they fail to realize that God sees everything they do.
This life is merely a moment when you consider eternity, and where will you spend eternity?
Do not give into the desires of the flesh, if you feel that you want to engage in a sinful act then quickly focus on God and pray. Prayer does work! Jesus will give you the strength to overcome sin and the desire to sin.
Proverbs 1:10 NIV
My son, if sinners entice you, do not give in to them.
Romans 6:12-17
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. 14 For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace. 15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! 16 Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey–whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted.
Galatians 5:16-21
(NIV)
16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
