Samsung Galaxy Star S5282
Samsung Galaxy Star S5282

Samsung Galaxy Star S5282

Bringing to you the lowest priced Android smartphone by Samsung, but for that they made the hardware feeble and the size of the device much smaller. It is powered by a SC6820 chip from Spreadtrum (single-core 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A5). It doesn't support 3G. None of the said processor support HSPA standard used for 3G in India. So you always need to rely on 2G or to search for a Wifi connection.
There are many people who have been complaining about the size of the screen, stating it small for a touchscreen that too of low resolution. Lets ace facts, the price for the Samsung is also low. Its really tough to type on small onscreen keyboards, or to view a website. The Lack of 3G and the 3" screen with low 320 x 240 resolution is the main weakness of this set.
Performance wise the phone meets up to the price paid for it and is not so bad and it is at least comparable with previous medium budget Galaxy sets. Samsung Galaxy Star runs on Android Jellybean 4.1 with a 512 MB RAM.

The phone gives an internal memory of 4 GB and has external storage support of 32 GB. The phone has a 2 MP primary camera and video recording facility. The phone has a battery back up of 320 hours supported with a 1200 mAh battery. The phone is a Dual Sim one with high speed Bluetooth and tethering facility.
