The 21st Century and Beyond!!! Can You Envision the Future??

Updated on August 4, 2020

Racing to the Future!

Full Speed Ahead!!!
Full Speed Ahead!!!

From the Dreams of Today into the Reality of Tomorrow!!

The Future is "Unwritten", sure we have seen Ideas of the Future in Movies, Books and Documentaries! We sit and often Wonder, "What Will the Future be Like?" Honestly if you stop and think about it, the future just like Now (today), which is always changing! At the same time, everything that exists Today was once a thought or an Idea. Why is this important to Note, for the Future?

There are Thoughts and Ideas out there about any, and everything! Some of them will make it and many will not or might possibly, later on. Here's a good example, many people now are familiar with Fiber Optics, but did you ever think it would be used for the Internet, Communications, or even Telephone Services?!? Yes, Fiber Optics make beautiful Light Ornaments for our table tops, now it is used for so Much More and who would have ever imagined the possibilities!

There are New Discoveries being made everyday, some time ago I had heard that Carbon Fibers (woven materials) are really strong and could be used to Build Tomorrow's Buildings or even Bridges or who know what else! I found this to be really interesting, not to mention some of the new metal alloys, that are now possible. There are many Titanium Alloys, which are the strongest, more so then Iron alloys. Plus Titanium has a higher Melting Point, this important for one day exploring other Star Systems or other areas of Deep Space! Also did you know the the SR-71's hull (the World Fastest Aircraft) was a Titanium Alloy and to this day, the Full Capabilities of the SR-71 are Still Not Known!? Basically the SR-71 has Gone Faster then Mach 3, more then 2100 Mph, it is still capable of withstanding higher Mach Factors!

This is just one example, Engineers are engineering newer, faster cars out of these new metal alloys. From Titanium, Carbon Fibers and Steel, not to mention New Aluminium Alloys also. Know one knows the "Future" but it sure looks very interesting!

Could There be More From Future?

Now onto the Latest, not to long ago the World's New Tallest Building opened up in Dubai, the Building is a feat of Technology. For Example, the Elevators are not on a pulley system but rather an Electo-magnetic Polarity System instead. This means the Elevators use Magnetic polarity to control the car for going Up or Down. Since Computer Technology has advanced, this system is now possible verses being complex. This building represents what Could be Possible in the Near Future, as far as demonstrating the functionality of Magnetism. The Dubai Tower has 160 Floors within the building and stands over 1/2 mile tall more then 2640 ft; the Dubai Tower stands at 2717 ft. tall!!

2011 actually did become the Year of the Full Electric Car, this represents a Major Leap in Automotive Engineering, the Chevy Volt and the Nissan Leaf are the first. The engineering of this Idea has been in development for Years, it took some Advancements for Battery Life to increase so this Car could be created. Now these types of Cars do not use Fuel Cells, to my understanding, it is suppose to be simply plugged into a Wall Outlet to charge the Batteries. This is a cool feature and a huge money saver over purchasing Gasoline in my opinion. Even though gas prices have fallen to the $2 range again, but for how long...?

Since the invention of the Computer, Our World has Seriously Changed! The Computer has made Drafting, Designing, and Creating New Ideas much easier and Faster. Plus Computer Technology is Always Advancing, Changing and Upgrading. With this fact, Gigabytes came out in the early 2000's and Terabytes came out in the mid 2000's. Some of us have even found out that Petabytes have even been released to the Public fairly recently. Now Gigabytes are Billions of Bytes, Terabytes are Trillions of Bytes and Petabytes are Quadrillions of Bytes. The Computer has made all of the Designs of the Items mentioned in this HubPage an easier tasks, needless to say, the Computer and it's advancements have made the "Future" Possible!

What else could Humanity "Dream" up? The "Sky" is only the beginning, there is so Much More, Even Further Beyond!!!
