Twitter Catches on in Japan
In English, we twitter. Birds twitter and humans twitter; usually the birdies make more sense, but we seem to be overtaking them in volume. Billions of twitters populate the Interweb. Our Library of Congress stores archives of our tweets. Otherwise sentient folks struggle to condense their ramblings into 140 characters or less.
Twittering in Japan
In Japanese, we さえずり. Loosely translated, it's mumbling. We don't know how bird sounds are characterized in Japan.

What you need to know
We at The Institute for the Painfully obvious caught up with a loyal Twitter follower of GachapinBlog, called tokitubaki. Catching up wasn't all that difficult; most twitterers crave human contact in any form. Tokitubaki kindly agreed to sit down with us to discuss Twittering in Japan. What follows is a fascinating account of cultural interaction and inter-global synergy implemented via a multi-modal interfacing of digital entropy.
IPO: Thank you for sitting down with us for this discussion.
(Thank
you. Please take off your shoes)
IPO: How did you get started Twittering?
(I heard about it on CNN.)
IPO: How interesting! What do you like most about Twittering?
(I enjoy the challenge of condensing my thoughts into 140 characters.)
IPO: And what frustrates you about Twittering?
(I am frustrated by insipid questions from HubPages authors.)
IPO: That hurt.
(I am not sorry. Please ask me another inane question so we can get this over with.)
IPO: OK... umm.. do you like Pop Tarts?
(Of course. Everyone likes Pop Tarts.)
IPO: We have achieved common ground. Thank you again for your time.
(I feel much closer to you. Can you get me the autograph of Harrison Ford?)
IPO: Check eBay. Good bye
