New Environmental Technology - Cleaning and Drinking Water of the 21st Century

Several years ago I had the privilege of working in water technology. I learned about ozone and electrolyzed water and yet today when look out on the world wide web the information on these new inventions is beyond minuscule it is almost as if the word ozone is a prohibited word. And the word electrolyzed water is even more obscure and yet these two advances take the best that technology and Mother Nature has to offer and combines them together for some exciting new products from sanitizers that look and feel like water to drinking water that actually serves to prevent tooth decay and gum disease. We have the technology to safely sanitize MRSA and yet our hospitals have not embraced this new technology.

As writers and readers of the spoken word, we seek first what improves our lives. These life changing technologies need to be not only fully understood from a household perspective but these new inventions need to be celebrated by corporate leaders from around the globe.

A neighbor boy came over and tried our ozonated water. I explained how ozonated water works and out of his innocence or perhaps it was his unbridled brilliance, he called the water "lightning water". Initially I was amused by the new name and then it occurred to me, he was precisely correct. For you see ozonated water only occurs when there is lightning.

I have written extensively about ozonated water because I sincerely feel it needs a publicity. There is no reason today to be scared of ozonated water when it is married smartly to computer technology. For you see the computer chip that rules your life from your smart phone to your DVD and beyond now can effectively manage and control the "lightning water" or ozonated water.

But wait, there is more! Sorry to sound like the hyped commercial but while I still have your attention, there is also another new electrolyzed water that offer even more medical potential to our precious human bodies.

Life Changing Technologies - Three Types of Lightning Water

Journey with me as we explore three different types of lightning water:

• ozonated water
• ultra violet light
• electrolyzed water

Lightning is a massive electrostatic discharge caused by unbalanced electric charges in the atmosphere, and resulting in a strike, from a cloud to itself, a cloud to a cloud or a cloud to ground, and accompanied by the loud sound of thunder.

Lightning is defined by science as an atmospheric condition. Call it what you may, in simple, layman terms, lightning water is derived first and foremost from the technology given by Mother Nature.

Ironically "lightning" is also defined as "a sudden stroke of fortune". The naming of the three new water technologies as lightning water truly is a sudden stroke of fortune for human kind. For you see we as human beings are plagued by bacteria on a daily basis. Being able to fight harmful bacteria with an all natural method with no chemicals is truly a new chapter in science that should be heralded as loudly as the smart phone technology.

Yet few people even know or understand the technology and fewer yet will take the time to learn about and understand what these new water technologies mean to mankind.

Ultraviolet light (UV) offers many great benefits. It is simple and straightforward uses very little energy to kill bacteria.

UV is found in tanning beds and many drinking water purifiers.

Sadly UV is found in our drinking water purifiers. Yes, sadly, I say because UV light is incomplete. Imagine making your bed only on the side that you can reach. Yes, this is what UV light does, it kills all bacteria in sight. If it cannot reach the bacteria, it is in not in sight, guess what the bacteria continues to thrive.

Don't be deceived UV is a cheap form of all natural purification but it is not a sanitizer that the medical community should rely upon and it certainly is inappropriate in my opinion for water purification.

Would you want water from a source that only partially purifies? Would your mother accept your bed being half made?

Oh, the commercial world will be mad at me for this exposure - please stay with me, these are facts you must learn and know.

Ozonated water long ago was going to be introduced into the military on the medical front. Google published a book about it from 1929. The technology was known and was exalted to the military then it suddenly disappeared. What happened? Oh, I can only guess the end of the story. For you see, the military and the physicians alike need reliable tools and rightfully so. Ozone is extremely powerful and back in 1920, a computer chip was not even on the sci fi channel oh, yeah, that is right television was not commercialized by the BBC until 1929. Ironically while television was brought to the world first by England and commercialized by the BBC, it was America who received the first color televisions followed by Britain and Europe in the 1960s.

Any way, ozonated water had the reputation of being unstable and it was - the rumors were completely true - ozonated water can be extremely powerful and unstable. And worst yet it can fail and fail miserably it did. For you see ozone cannot handle heat. When water becomes warm the efficacy of ozone diminishes.

Long story short, the computer chip has solved the problems of ozonated water's instability. And new method to cool the unit have been developed to maintain the effectiveness of ozone over time.

Imagine the biggest marriage ceremony in scientific history and yet no one attended the ceremony - at least as yet.

For you see ozonated water is the complete solution to purify drinking water - but only when it is coupled with computer technology.

The photos and the video detail the use of a compact and effective ozone generator. You will note in the video that this ozone generator by RovinGreen combines smart technology and LED lights to indicate the effectiveness of the ozone being generated.

Ozone generators without the indicator lights are not recommended. Adding smart technology in combination with lights that tell the uses when the ozone is effective is critical. Also, remember, ozone used to disperse rapidly after a couple of minutes of use - why? The heat would decrease the amount of ozone. New generators have eliminated this problem.

Because ozone would be unstable and could be counted upon to lessen its effectiveness as it was used, many of the old applications of ozone include repetitive ozone generators. New ozone generators have solved this problem and have gone a step further, they have added the lights to reassure the user that the technology is functioning properly. A medical facility has to have the assurance that purification of the ozone is working and the level of ozone generated continues consistently.

Ozone is not a medical cure.

Ozone does kill bacteria but it has no medical research to prove "cures".

Ozone is nothing new.

What is new is the technology to control and report the level of ozone generated. What is new is the technology to deliver ozone from a small compact generator.

Ozone is a tool that is greatly misunderstood and under utilized.

Electrolysed water ("Electrolyzed Water") (EOW or ECA, also known as electrolyzed oxidizing water, electro-activated water or electro-chemically activated water solution) is produced by the electrolysis of ordinary tap water containing dissolved sodium chloride.^[1] Typically, tap water has sufficient dissolved salts for the electrolysis of water. The electrolysis of such salt solutions produces a solution of sodium hypochlorite, which is the most common ingredient in store-bought household bleach. The resulting water is a known surfactant (soap) and sanitizer.

The third type of lightning water is called "electrolyzed water". This water is the most powerful of all the lightning waters. It is a water combined with a natural substance you and I know very well - sodium.

Just as the marriage ozonated water with computer technology was a new scientific event, this marriage is even more dramatic for world and for humanity.

What is different from ozonated water? What makes electrolyzed water better? Its useful life. For you see, electrolyzed water can be bottled and it can remain effective. Ozonated water is effective only at point of use which explains why ozonated drinking water only makes sense, you can demand water to drink at a certain point in time.

Yet for cleaning and for sanitizing you don't wish to run to the sink all the time so this is where electrolyzed water can further help medical facilities and schools. This bottled water can be generated on sight and maintained for 10-15 days or perhaps longer. This water is stronger in purification than ozonated and can be readily bottled and used throughout large facilities such as hotels and hospitals.

And hotels and hospitals are just now beginning to install this technology. Electrolyzed water will save them money on chemicals and provide a strong sanitizer for the safety of both their patrons but also for their cleaning staff. Remember staff members must apply the sanitizers, a sanitizer that is all natural is loved by the housekeeping staff.

By the way, I have used the electrolyzed water and it doesn't streak when I clean the mirrors. Amazing stuff and when I clean my birdbath since it kills the germs on the birdbath, my birdbath stays cleaner longer.
