Expanding With The Help Of Facebook Plugins

Hello and Welcome Everyone,

This Hubs topic is about creating and using Facebook Plugins and how creating a SEPARATE Facebook PAGE can help expand and grow your Internet Business.

First I want to talk about how creating a separate Facebook Page can help you grow and expand your Internet Business. I recently learned that Facebook does not allow people to create additional Facebook accounts. It's against their policy BUT Facebook does allow it's members to create additional Facebook pages. Why would you want to create a Facebook page? Creating a separate Facebook page to connect with entrepreneurs from all over the globe can only help your growing Internet Business without saturating your original personal Facebook account. I did not want to open the doors to my original personal Facebook account to the whole world. I use my original Facebook account for family and a handful of good friends. I did not want my wall taken over with posts promoting everything under the sun.

Steps To Follow To Create A New Facebook Page

Firstly sign into your Facebook account. To the left of your page you'll see a link that says "See More" and click on it. More options will open to view then click on "Ads and Pages". You will then be brought to a page where you will click on "Create Page" to create a new Facebook page. When you create a new Facebook page you become the administrator of the new Facebook page. Once created do a search for Hubpages in the search field. When your at the Hubpages Facebook on the left side of the page click "Add To My Page's Favorites" click on the arrow then choose the newly created Facebook page.

Another way to find your favorite Revenue Sharing Websites or any website you enjoy, you can sign into the Revenue Sharing Website your a member of and click the Facebook follow button directly from the website. I had to use this method with some of the websites I wanted to follow at Facebook.

OK, now I want to discuss how to create and use a Facebook Plugin to embed onto your websites and blogs.

Sign into your Facebook account, click on "See All" then click on "Ads and Pages" and you will brought to a new page to click on your newly created Facebook page link. When your at your newly created Facebook page you will see tabs directly under your Facebook's title. Click on "Get Started". You will then be brought to another page and you will see "Promote this page on your website" then click on the "Add Like Box" and you will be brought to the Plugins list. Practice following these instructions.

First you want to submit the correct URL into the "Facebook Page URL". I suggest while your signed into your newly created Facebook page, (within a separate open tab) place your cursor over your new Facebook link posted on your wall and leave it there. Look very carefully at the URL to the lower left hand corner of your browser and then look at the URL in the address bar. They will be different URLs. The URL you want to place into the "Facebook Page URL" field is the URL shown at the bottom left of your browser. You right click your mouse, copy link location then paste the URL into the "Facebook Page URL" field, choose the width, connections, if you want Streams to be shown and choose if you want the Header to be shown. Then click "Get Code" to highlight "iframe", copy and paste into your website or blog. I'm comfortable using iframes and this is why I suggest it.

Final Words

In 2009 I started to use Facebook for fun but I desired to use it to help expand and grow my Internet Business but like I discussed above, I did not want the world to take over my original Facebook account.

I'm not known for using a social networking website to help myself connect with like-minded article writers and entrepreneurs but felt it was high time I give it a go.

OK, now I have a new Facebook page and now I want people to join in. I have the settings set for people to post on the wall, post photos, post videos and to post links. I want to connect with other like-minded entrepreneurs who want to learn and help each other expand and grow.  I want article writers to post their links onto the wall and use the Free Write Revenue Streams Facebook page as a place to post their referral links too.  This Facebook page was created so people can have fun, learn and connect with like-minded people.  No hate, racial or adult stuff allowed please.

I'm sure there are people who are very computer savvy and probably use Facebook already to connect with people but I am someone who needed to learn how to use Facebook plugins properly and now plan on using it daily to help grow and expand my Internet Business.

I hope this blog helps you learn how to embed Facebook Plugins to your websites and blogs. If you ever need help and I able to help, I am more than happy to guide you along.
