The " World's Most Powerful Gaming Console." Xbox One X is a video game console developed and marketed by Microsoft. Xbox One X was released on November 7th 2017. This is now the third gaming console to join the Xbox One family. Next to being the most powerful console in the world, it is also now the smallest Xbox One ever made. Maybe some of these fact's seem a little random, But all true gamers do their research on the gaming system's they buy.

History of the Xbox Gaming Consoles :


The very first Xbox gaming console was released on November 15th 2001, with a starting price of $299 US. The units sold for this gaming console was 24+ million as of May 10th 2006. With the best selling video game, Halo 2 selling 8 million, as of May 9th 2006. This gaming console was discontinued March 2nd 2009.

Xbox 360

This video gaming console was first released November 22nd, 2005. With a starting price of $299 US, With other many different bundles also released, With larger storage, Kinect. Later the price for this console dropped. Over 77.2 million units were sold of this gaming console. With the best selling game with a bundle was Kinect Adventures, and the best selling non bundle was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Selling 14.23 million. This gaming console finally being discontinued April 20, 2016.

Xbox One

This Video gaming console was first released November 22, 2013. With a starting price of $499 US, Different prices with different bundles, such as the Kinect Bundle, and the Xbox One Elite bundle. Over 26 million units sold, with the best selling video game being Call of Duty Black Ops 3 with 7.24 million copies being sold. Xbox One X of course is still not discontinued. Xbox One S was released, and now of course were on Xbox One X.

Microsoft officially unveiled Xbox One X, The world's most powerful gaming console, a high-end version of Xbox One. During its E3 2017 press conference. We all seen our first tease of this monster gaming console at the previous E3 conference in 2016, Under the code name " Project Scorpio." Another thank's to Microsoft for this Xbox One upgrade. They included a lot of upgrades. Featuring its upgraded hardware that is designed to primarily play video games at 4k resolution.


Xbox One X has one of the smoothest looking designs, The hardware is a revision of the Xbox One S hardware, It uses a system on chip, Known as Scorpio Engine, Which incorporates 2.3 GHz octa core CPU, A Radeon GPU with 40 Compute Units clocked at 1172 MHz, Which generates 6 teraflops of graphical computing performance. Also includes 12 GB of GDDR5 RAM, With a nice 9 GB, that is usable by video games. To optimize Xbox One X for a goal of allowing all of the existing Xbox One video game titles to be played in 4k. It also supports AMD's FreeSync adaptive sync technology. Scorpio Engine's CPU utilizes a custom platform designed to maintain compatibility with the Jaguar CPU of the original Xbox One. Xbox One X will also use a vapor chamber method for cooling the SoC, and motherboards will be tailored to the exact voltage needs of each individual Scorpio SoC to optimize their output and energy usage.
