Well, a friend of mine who is a D.J. (mostly to small gatherings such as birthdays, etc) owns this speaker and loves it. For portability, you probably can't beat this little guy as it is only 22 x 14.7 and on wheels. Quite easy to tote around to that newest gig.

Battery life appears to vary on the type of music enjoyed - heavy metal with lots of bass seems to drain the speaker's battery quicker.
