NTC'S first e-action and its effect

The National Textiles Corporation (NTC), has sold Podar Mills at Worli Naka. The sale of Nationalized textile mills closed after spending billions of rupees on trying to run 111 textile mills which has resulted in huge losses and in billions and somebody said close the mills and send the workers with a golden hand shake, there by millions of textile workers were sent home by paying billions. To recover the money the closed mills which is over 50 all over India is being sold piece by piece to private property developers all over India.

The money recovered by selling is adjusted to words the money paid for retrenching the workers. However they say it is used for up gradation or relocation of remaining mills and some body is telling its for technical textiles.

If its for technical textiles which is the mill that is making technical textiles.?

If its producing baby diapers it is no use to the nation.

If its making camouflage printed fabrics for our army its no use,

If its making tents its no use.

If its making bandage cloth and calling it as medical textiles coming under technical textiles its no use.

For the first time ever, the NTC carried out an e-auction.

How was the previous Mills sold - like Mysore Spg & Mfg Mills Bangalore.

Not a single mill is producing hi tech technical textiles or even artificial grass.
