Archos 605 / 705

ARCHOS 605 - this electronic gadget is easier to carry than bringing pictures, iPods, or portable DVD players. It's a combination of all with added features like wifi, portals etc. I was able to download hundreds or thousands of pictures so when I travel I can show photos just like a digital picture frame or just choose which one you want to show. When we drove from Houston to Florida, we lost radio signals along the way, so my archos continued playing all my favorite songs straight and now I bought a portable speaker so that the sound is better and louder. At doctors/dental or any appointment I have, I use the earplug to listen or watch movies while waiting or just looking at the pictures. Now whenever we have picnics, get together or driving around, I always bring this and of course it entertains people esp. kids who love to watch the funny jokes downloaded from the YouTube.

Wii Fit Bundle

I never really like playing video games with my kids' game because I'm lousy and not good at it. Of course the only games that I'm good at were Pac-man and Space Invaders. Even with Super Mario, I can't even make him jump. Since my husband bought the Wii gun to play with Call of Duty, well it's game time for me. I love the bowling and the target shooting. This is also a good gadget to play and have fun with friends with the benefit of exercising too. I really sweat a lot when we played tennis, bowling, boxing and golf.

Wii with Wii Sports Resort

Xbox 360 4GB Console with Kinect

I have the Wii Fit Plus with Balance board. My sons just got the X-Box Kinect bundle and they let me try the Adventure game and now I'm hooked. Got more than a work out in one hour. My sons like the Dance games.

Kinect Sports

Apple iPad Tablet

(32GB, Wi-Fi)

The best way to experience the web, email, photos, and video. Hands down. All of the built-in apps on iPad were designed from the ground up to take advantage of the large Multi-Touch screen and advanced capabilities of iPad. And they work in any orientation. So you can do things with these apps that you can't do on any other device. A large, high-resolution LED-backlit IPS display. An incredibly responsive Multi-Touch screen. And an amazingly powerful Apple-designed chip. All in a design that's thin and light enough to take anywhere.

We bought the MagicJackTM plus the discounted 5-year subscription before my wife went to the Philippines. We used it regularly to call back and forth. The reception was good--audio was clear and did not experience any drop out. So far we have been using it for over a month and no long distance bill other that the initial purchase and subscription. You don't even have to pay the yearly subscription until after one year. You do, however, need to activate the device before using it. So far so good....
