Fancy Another Pinterest?

Updated on March 10, 2015

Do we need another Pinterest?

The answer might be no for most but consider that we are always looking for new things to do especially on the internet.

Fancy is another interesting site similar to Pinterest but with its own merits. Whereas Pinterest is focused on images of all sorts Fancy focuses on products. Described as a store and wishlist in one Fancy can be the place where you centralize your actual wishlists.

Purchasing Your Wishes

Fancy provides you an easy way of purchasing the item you've "fancied" via your catalog wherein you can click on any item and Add to Cart. All the items on Fancy have a price tag.

Amazingly they can ship anywhere and you are informed of all costs which include the price of the item and shipping fee.

For now the only modes of payment are Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

Fancy Features

Because of its similarity to Pinterest you can expect that it will have a bit of the same. A jump to Top button and list of categories to choose from are just a couple.

However, they also have a Shop section that features Sales, Deals, and Brands and Stores. So if you happen to come across a particular item you like you can also check out other items from that store or brand. It's in alphabetical order which is a big help. For now the list is modest but will probably grow over the coming months.

Hopefully the team at Fancy ensures the quality of products they're placing on their site. If you check it out you'll see what I'm talking about.

Setting Up a Brand

Online merchants have another great venue to promote their items. If you have an online store you can add your Brand to Fancy and even set up special deals.

Though Pinterest has a similar feature it's mosty geared towards sharing all kinds of images rater than buying something specific. Fancy has narrowed their niche by focusing on items that you can actually buy.

What makes it different from other online buying sites? They have interesting items and some that I haven't seen around. On my first visit to their page I was already taken with quite a few particular items for Kids.

This makes it more appealing to customers and consumers.

Would you give Fancy a try?
