I was noticing on Webmaster tools that many links to my Hubs come from within Hubpages itself. Do these links have any value in terms of search engines, indexing, organic traffic, etc.?
Supposedly they are good SEO. Don't use more than 2 or 3 in one hub, and use links of hubs that are relevant to the hub where you are placing the links, whether it be your hubs or those of another writer.
I think some of the links Nate's referring to aren't the ones the author specifically added, but come from HP, like the little "Explore Other Hubs" sections that appear.
The explore other hubs probably beneifts HP, and not the writer since links are not in the hub itself. I am just guessing at that theory.

This is getting silly. The last few Hubs I updated had all links to other Hubs snipped, even though these links were (a) on the same topic (b) helpful to the reader and (c) pointing to the same niche site. I really try to understand why Amazon links are removed, and I get why links to other sites...
