I think it is so important to share this information with you. There are so many scam rackets going on in the world wide web. And some are just horrible and can leave you reeling with anger, disgust! Please learn from my mistakes, as I wish this on no one to have to endure!
The writing sites like.."Empower Network, Wealthy Affiliate" and those pay day loans crap. All of these are just that, crap! When you sign up for any of these mentioned. It is best to look through the BBB website and see if any of them are accredited with the BBB.
If not, then you probably are going to be scammed. I wish for eveyone to never have to go through the trouble of closing down your checking/savings accounts, change your cell phone/home number, because of all the repeated calls. And because they have important information which you will need to give to the BBB and somehow have them contact these shady businesses. This happened to me not to long ago. And I still get e-mails trying to *sucker me* back in.
Has this happened to any of you?
I have not fallen for the crap. But, my e-mail is crammed with spam. I just forward all that crap to spam@uce.gov.
A payday loan outfit just closed its doors at the mini-mall I go to. My heart soared like a hawk. Looks like the general population is wising up.
Actually, Wealthy Affiliate is not bad, because in addition to everything else, it offers unlimited hosting. If you have a lot of web sites, it can work out quite a good deal.
I'm paying $30 a month at WA for unlimited hosting with Wordpress ready to go, plus all the tutorials (some of which are useful) and community. I declare this as a business expense, and the resulting tax relief brings the cost down to $20 a month. That is nothing. It is the price of 3 beers, and I earn it in 30 minutes or less of translation work.
Empower Network is a scam but they have/teach brilliant social media promotion. I have copied a few things from them.
Personally, I'm really into internet marketing. It's an awesome way to make money online! But yeah, I got sucked into both of those companies at the beginning of my online marketing career. Needless to say, I cancelled my subscriptions once I found out what they were all about.
Empower Network isn't actually a "scam," per se. It's just a multi-level marketer (a pyramid scheme), where you have to spend about $5000 in order to get promoted to the highest level of income.
I've learned to stay away from unethical practices like that. But if you're interested in making money online, Bring The Fresh is actually an amazing product. It's how I got my start.
Cheers!
