Is there any way to hook up a Timex Sinclair 2040 printer to my Mac?!

I'm a designer / typographer and want to edition some new work on a very old school Timex Sinclair 2040 spark printer as I remember it fondly from my childhood. I've bought one in good working order but now I'm looking for ways to get my images onto it, in a format it will understand. Can anyone tell me if this is possible? If I have to buy an old Sinclair Spectrum or something I can work with that but I was hoping some enthusiast might have rigged one up to a more modern computer.

I really don't know - but would imagine the hassle you would have getting it to work with a MAC would be crazy.

It probably would be easier to use it with an original ZX Spectrum or Timex Sinclair model.

You could try it with a ZX Spectrum Emulator running on a PC or MAC too - but to be honest I've never even tried.

    Best of luck with it!
