Is it necessary to install anti-virus software on a Mac?
Having recently switched from PC to Mac, I have heard conflicting opinions about anti-virus software. What do you think from your real life experiences?
I have never had a virus on a Mac in 19 years. For much of that time I've used antivirus software anyway, and with Macs increasing in popularity, they are bound to be targeted more. Get something free like iantivirus and you should be fine.

Not neccessary to have Anti-virus installed on Mac. But, "prevention is better than cure".
